lol - I still got the cover of the city paper tacked to my cubicle wall. Shows Fat Albert horsecollaring Gannon and Gannon wincing in pain as Carter tries to strip him on the way down. Didn't your "best QB in the NFL" spend a large ammount of time being attented to on the sideline that game? lol

I am a Titans fan. I don't visit this site much but I saw Chow was fired today. I have been an Oiler fan growing up in Iowa. I now live in Cali but I am still a diehard Iowa Hawkeye. So I watch mostly Colts and Titans play on Sundays. Demond "Bob" Sanders is like no other safety in the league. It started with his days at Iowa. He would fly around and hit anything moving. Thus he earned the nickname "Hitman". He most definitely would have been DPOY last year if he wouldn't have been hurt most the season. Just like Albert this year. He took some time off for injuries and it really hurt the team. I am not blaming Albert but if you can't play then you can't be recognized either. Bob's only weakness is his knees. He has had some problems with them in the past. I knew when he went down with the shoulder injury that he would be back. He is as tough as they come. The Colts were playing without Freeney and Bob helps the D make up for that loss. The problem I saw against the Chargers is they had Bob up at the LOS a lot. That is not Bob's strong point. He likes to get a 10 yard run and pop the RB. So if he gets a OL or TE to engage him, he isn't much to handle. When he gets a 10 yard sprint, it is hard for the OL or TE to block him. Anyhow, if Albert can comeback next year and play hard for all 16 games, then he should be one of the top choices for DPOY. This year he wasn't even close.

Either you are boldy dishonest or just have a poor memory because i made it clear as rain that my ranking of QBs(march 2003 i believe) was based on how they had played the previous few years and not on future predictions of how they would play.

I'm tired of having to explain this over and over. Rich gannon was the friggin mvp of the whole entire league and beat our asses big time twice but you thought it odd that someone might suggest he was the best qB that year?

Getting to your basic thesis that i hate on our own players i rated mcnair as the third best QB in the whole damn league. What hate! And i started a whole thread in that year pertaining to my expectation that mcnair would have a great 2003 and he did.

I am also the poster who has repeatedly suggested that steve even in his earliest years was a much bigger part of this team's success than most people gave him credit for..

Try being more alert and a little more current.

We gave up 52 and 41 points respectively that year to that raider team maybe he just blew a gasket and never quite recovered..
