    my dream list.....

Michael Turner, UFA, San Diego Chargers

Randy Moss, UFA, New England Patriots and/or Bernard Berrian, UFA, Chicago Bears

Alan Faneca, UFA, Pittsburgh Steelers and/or Max Starks, UFA, Pittsburgh Steelers

Jared Allen, UFA, Kansas City Chiefs and/or Terrell Suggs, UFA, Baltimore Ravens

Asante Samuel, UFA, New England Patriots

thing is we could actually afford almost one from each of these positions...say we sign 4 of em average each at 8m a yr to keep them happy...

...and thing is we'd still have around 8m to resgin haynesowrth

If we get the players above just imagine our team next year.

    KVB , Haynesworth , Brown/Rookie DT , Allen - OMG

    Pacman , Griffin , Hope , Samuel - OMG

    Faneca , Roos/Stewert , Mawae , Olson , Bell - OMG

    Turner , White , Henry - OMG

    Moss , Gage , Sweed/Kelly , BJ/Roydell - kinda OMG

We should have a squad next year...

My main free agents I would want is

    Turner or Taylor
Moss , Roy , Berrian , Stallworth (doesn't matter) or a Chad trade
    Allen
    Samuel
    Faneca

Not sure about Berrian.Watched a Bears game earlier in the season and he completely ducked out of making a block which resulted in a bad play. Can't really knock his receiving skills but i dont want no p***ys on our team.

IMO Bernard Berrian isn't worth very much money. I would consider him only because of our WR corps at the moment. Any other ofthe big names should be looked into first.

Can someone else answer why everyone wants Turner so bad. Ever since I came onto this site everyone has been talking about him as if he were one of the greats. He plays behind a good O line, an even better FB and an even better RB. He is not proven so why go out and blow all our money on him. This team has some issues and at the moment a RB is not at the top of the list.

And if anyone doesn't remember a couple of years ago, spending all our cap may not be the best move.

One thing that has to be remembered is that the Titans also have to sign all their draft picks. If you splurge on free agency, that makes getting your first/second round picks signed that much harder. Additionally, keeping some cap room is a good thing. We have seen the results of cap mismanagement, and tasted the bitter fruit of cap hell. I don't want to see the Titans over-leveraged, but nor do I wish that the Titans continue their frugal ways.

IMO, priority one should be taking care of in house free agents, particularly Haynesworth. Getting that situation resolved quickly should allow the Titans to know a) how much money they will have left for FA's and b) what their remaining FA/draft priorities need to be. From there, the WR corps should be the next area of focus. But any way you slice it, the cap room leads me to have great optimism for next year...as long as it is used wisely.

After what teams were paying mediocre players last year, this March will be even crazier for some of the top talent.

Gunny is right we did make significant offers for those guys. Stallworth preferred to play with brady and our offer to him wasn't weak at all.

The biggest place we are cheap was with our own guys..

It wasn't for the lack of trying. We offered Clements a really good deal, way more to Stallworth than the Patriots did, Key, alot more than he was worth, etc. etc. Other than that it was a pretty poor F.A. season
