I think Vy wasn't going to run, yes he was scared. He was hurt, and a lil spooked out because of that cheap shot. He knew if he had ran the ball that someone could have tired to injury him. The way this game was going I think he thought they were trying to injury anyone that they could get too. Lendale white got his helmet tooken off like 5 times and the chargers players threw the helmet. It was a physical game. Ask yourself this, would you go out there and run if you were a qb knowing someone from the other team could try to cheap shot you. He ran perfectly last 4 games, but not today. Why??? well its how the game was going. One cheap shot and it could be over for VY. So he was heistant to take off and tried to force stuff where there was nothing. The Chargers may have won, but at least like 10 of thier guys are gonna be hurting the next few weeks.

 

Has anyone seen the chambers catch. u can get the highlights on titansonline or nfl.com. He didn't catch that ball. you can slow it pause it take frame by frame. NO CATCH. The refs were not gonna overturn two calls back to back we had no chance. We had other chances and failed but that was the ball game they have to get that right! Not was it the ball game but it may turn out to be the season. To much on the line for some blue haired ref to fudge it up. Nobody is talking about it on the networks. Everyone knows it was wrong. Not to mention they didn't start the clock and the bolts got an extra nine secs on the last drive. Guess what TD with 9 secs on the clock. I know this sounds like a fan rant and it is but come on the refs butchered it. The titans should have handle their business and they didn't. We didn't win end of story but we also didn't get any help.

 

on sportscenter, they showed all Chargers highlights. Not a single Titans highlight. Now Hoge is running his mouth.

 

Im not reading the entire thread, but what did the Chambers catch look like? The replay at the game looked like it was clearly incomplete.

They didn't televise the game down here today. Instead, I got treated to the Raiders/Packers I kept tuning in to NFL scoreboard for updates. Even though they were up a couple touchdowns in the fourth, I was still uneasy about how this game would finish. When the Chargers scored their first touchdown I just knew this thing was over. I hated thinking that way but I couldn't help it. It's like I'm hoping for the best but at the same time expecting the worst. I haven't seen enough of them this year to offer any real input so I can't say what they need to do to get better. But it's clear (based on many of your posts) some changes have to come. It will be interesting to see what happens from this point until next season.

But man, I feel that kick to the gut like several of you. This one really hurts.

 

Networks are ignoring the facts. Don't wanna cast any doubt on the league refs... Especially after last week in baltimore. it took a thirty minute analyses on HBO to explain that holding call on 4th down. something is wrong. All the teams in this league are so even(well most.. not you miami) that games are coming down to judgement calls by a ref. 1 play can make or break a game. the commish will fine the hell out of a player for getting out of line. why not a ref?

Hey all you giving up faith already. Well let me ask you this did haven't you seen what can happen. Last year we were 0-5 and nobody gave us a chance. And we won 7 straight games. And it all came down to the last game of the season and we needed like 5 teams to lose and it all happened expect us winning. So, give up if you want, but not me. Like Vanden Bosch said, we are gonna fight to the end. If our players can do that, why can't we be FANS and support our team? I'm still supporting them playoffs or not!!
