Don't be shocked if Houston comes to LP and beats us

I agree that their is a rift some where in the team. The first couple of weeks they were playing as a team, now they are just standing on the field watching the sun set. Hopefully, we will have a player step forward, raise their voice, and get these guys fired up.

I liked this team better when they were pissed off at the world because they were under dogs. People started showing them respect and it went to their head.

In school, some students don't have to study one bit to get good grades (New England). Then there are students that must work their butt off for it (Titans). Therefore, the Titans can't skate by on talent alone. They actually have to put some effort forward, which they have been lacking.

 

We will pull it together and blow them out.

We will not lose to the Texicans, nor will we lose 4 in a row.

 

Indidvidually the talent may be there, but collectively results are not being shown. AH is obviously in "contract negotiations", and I don't expect to see much out of him the rest of the season. Regardless of how electrifying a player he is, AJ, is just to disruptive. I don't think he'll ever change, and will never again play with the Titans. VDB is doubled team on every play with AH out, and what's left is ineffective against the run and pass. And VY has not yet learned how to both pass and catch the ball.

after the last 3 game, no way I think we win this one....

Andre Johnson is probably going to go off for 12 catches, 170 yards and 3 TD's....

 

Some would point out that the skid started right after Goodell announced that Pacman wouldn't be reinstated...

 

Don't be worried. We will win this one. I know the D has looked pathetic, and the Offense looks like a Model T racing a Laborghini Diablo, but I think we stop the bleeding this week. They all sound so determined. I just know they better not go in thinkin that the Texans are going to just hand it over w/o a fight.

 

let me take a stab at how the game will unfold...

Titans get the ball first...try to run on 1st and 2nd down...unsucessfully....incomplete pass on 3rd down...punt

Houston marches down the field and scores on a pass to Andre Johnson when he gets behind Harper and Lowry is slow to cover...

On the kick off, we catch the ball at the 5 yard line and is tackled at the 15...then a penalty puts us at the 7.5 yard line....2 passes net 5 yards and the 3rd down draw doesn't work...punt....

Houston marches down and scores again with a potent passing attack....

we again fail to run the kickoff past the 20....this time we drive the ball all the way down the field after abandoning the power running game....but can't score the TD and get a FG...

14-3 bad guys...

for the rest of the game, houston runs the ball and controls the clock, tennessee loses 35-27 after Vince throws for 2 TD's and 2 Int's in the 4th quarter....

albert, hope and olsen don't play....

man, these last 3 weeks has really killed my enthusiasm for this team....ugh...I guess I should just get excited about my Tigers beating USC this weekend and forget about the Titans, so I quit acting like a 6 year old that got his birthday taken away after they inevitably lose again....

 

To put you guys at ease, While we've been playing like texans:

We're playing the Texans. It's not so much as to how bad we play, it's how bad they allow us to play while still winning.
