I was going to make a post about how bad the WRs looked despite how well Vince was playing.

    Tomato, tomahto, I guess.

    Poor officiating?

Did anyone else catch the blatant hold on one of our DLinemen on the Stokely TD? The guy practically bear hugged him and therefore he cant get to Cutler on the outside. We couldn't get a single break last night. A pass interference call that should've been a offensive pass interference - the receiver had no chance what so ever and held the corner (Finnegan, i believe) and we get called for the interference. Then of course the continual poor calls for our offense such as the somehow "incomplete" complete pass that Bo caught and the lame duck attempt to rob of us of yet another TD on Young's run.

I know, the game is dependent on execution by the players, but it's also comes down to the referee's sometimes and we lost in both categories. Even though the defense played porous...you take away the hold there and lineman gets on cutler it's more than likely a throw out of bounds or a sack and the interference call goes the other way...we win this I think. Defense gets a confidence boost and who knows what happens. However, in a game where one team got all the luck...we hung in there for the most part. (Thanks to Vince)

the QB-WR relation goes both ways, yes the QB should hit the WR in stride but at the same time the WR should make a move to help the QB out as well. When passes are dropped then its a clear sign that it was on the WR. Similarily if the pass is wide or off-target (high) then it is the QBs fault (unless he is putting it where only his guy can get it). There were 2 such passes i saw from VY last night, but the most were from dropped plays by the WRs

I love how Bo Scaife turns around to catch a pass and the ball hits him directly in the helmet. If that's not accurate, then I don't know what is. The only thing Vince did wrong was throw it to one of our gimp WRs.

someone posted a blog that pointed out he's one of the worst officials when it comes to review. In his 50-something games he's only done an official review/booth review 7 times. I think it's time for Goodell to trim the fat and replace officials such as that guy.

im sure one of those is scaife with about 25 seconds left, which i think was on scaife.

i went back to look at it to see if he had caught the ball and noticed that he settled into the void in the zone. when you see vince in the pocket you see him look off the FS with a pump fake and go back across the field to scaife. i think vince was leading him more up-field because the FS had created a void going to the endzone.

    at least that's my take.

Cutler played well, but needless to say he had a lot more supporting help. On that note I will add that poor tackling and YAC contributed to teh Bronco's TDs. VY had no support in the running game (he was our leading rusher and through most of the game the leading rusher for the entire game) or in the YAC department (usually the result of a WR if he is hit in relative stride).

Everyone is allowed to have their own opinion but look at it objectively before condeming VY and praising Cutler. VY played extremely well, he had 4 bad passes that i counted (2 ints and 2 that were on the run that looked horrible) but he also had 6 dropped that would have translated to either huge yardage or TDs.

Everybody is just upset after such a tough loss. The whole team played bad with the only exception being VY. We will rebound this week and can keep pace with Jacksonville. The only thing we are really gunning for is a wild card spot. Hopefully Big Al and Harper will be back this week. Maybe the front office will see how much this D line needs Albert and get him signed back. We need a change at running back. I don't think Lendale is the solution at running back we were looking for. I think I like Chris Brown more than White. Use Henry as a change of pace back and let Lendale go. He will never be a good running back in this league.

young is a stud and showed it last night. when there was no one open he scrambled for first downs. then when he hits our recivers for any big plays they drop them. so i dont wanna hear anymore how vince is terrible and are wr's can catch if someone throws to the. all of them droped a critical pass at one point in the game.
