    Rank - 8
    Tennessee Titans (6-3)
The first two victories in the recent three-game homestand feature an overload of rushing yardage against passing. Ridiculous, people said. So against Jacksonville Vince threw for personal highs in passes and yards, and the running attack hit ground zero (62 yards, 52 by Young) and the Titans lost the game and got shoved all over the place. Looks like evil times ahead. Cold weather is coming in, and you know what that means. Forget the running. Better have a passing attack in place. Wait a minute ... have I got that thing wrong or something? Give me a week. I'll get it worked out.

ohh yeah and yahoo's Michael Silver isnt that bad either:
"6. Tennessee Titans: As well as Albert Haynesworth has played during his contract year, did he make even more money by not playing against the Jags on Sunday?"

He makes a good point. If we were playing the patriots i like are running game in a snowy foxboro more than their passing game. That would be a great leveller that maybe does slightly tilt in the Titans favour with are defense which i think is better than theirs.

Vince Young is the great equalizer. And the Patriots and Colts will find that out like the rest of our fans. It's inevitable. And if anything, Vince gives us the edge. When we need him most, he will show.

Teams that can control the clock and have a tough defense win championships. Nothing has changed passing teams might be able to put lots of points on the board but a passing team can more easily be shut down than a strong running team. Look back at every dynasty, Packers of the 60s, Steelers, and Cowboys of the 70's, Redskins, 49ers, of the 80s, Cowboys and Broncos of the 90's, Pats now. All have been great at those two things.

Our problem is that we are one dimentional right now and part of that is on Vince but a much bigger part is on our receivers who absolutely suck this year. Did anyone in this forum really think this team was good enough to contend for a championship? At the beginning of the year i would have been happy with 6 wins, now I think we stand a great chance of going to the playoffs. I don't care how the rest of the season ends, Vince has learned a lot and will continue to learn, get him some better weapons and if he still can't perform then they need to evaluate him as a QB but for now he needs to keep doing what he is doing and hope our front office gets him a little more talent to work with.
