Yeah, I know it sounded like I was saying Hope is not good, but that's far from what i was saying. We all know Hope is a PLAYMAKER and not just a SAFEPLAYER, b/c we have evidence that when put in position to make plays, he will do (minus play yesterday) so as evidenced last year. He was all over the place and should have made the Pro Bowl.

PLAYMAKERS:

Bulluck, Hope, Finnegan, KVB, Hanesworth

SAFEPLAYERS:
Harper, Lowry, Brown (he'd be better @ DE), Odom, Fowler.

I'm still up in the air about Thorton, not sure if I'd classify him as one or the other.

A team is comprised of individual players fuctioning as one unit individually, if that makes sense. Everyone must do their Job, and if they do someone will make a tackle, interception, fumble recovery, turn a turnover into a TD, etc, etc, etc.... That's where your Playmaker's come in, and why you want 11 individual playmakers making plays as one defensive unit. PLAYMAKER'S and not only SAFEPLAYERS.

Grffin has shown the instinct, and skills to be a PLAYMAKER. He needs to be given a chance, and when Pac does return wheher it be next year, or this one, our secondary will be straight FIRE!!!! :flamer:

Hope and want Pac to return, but I won't hold my breath.

 

The biggest thing is this - Goodell isn't going to ask "has Pac done everything I've asked him to", he's going to ask himself "has Pac done anything above and beyond what I've asked to have earned the right to come back early".

Also, I'm not sure sure that commish won't get a quiet lobby from the Titan's FO to leave the suspension in place. While I'd like to see him back, if I'm a coach who is finally back in the playoff hunt after a long rough stretch - I don't know if I'd want any potential distractions that would come with his return with 6 critical games left. Fisher loves the status quo, and doesn't like to mess with a good thing when he's got it. The D is holding up, and I'm guessing he doesn't want to deal with Pac until next spring.

Lowry is the weakest link on the defense.

I'm amazed at how Harper could have 2 interceptions and people call him the weakest link. hahaha He wasn't the only one being humiliated out there yesterday.
