As good as he is when healthy...he's never healthy.

 

Still mostly the line is at fault..

Lendale does make us think of eddie in 02 and 03. Slow to the hole but lately there have not been enough holes. At least we know brownie will get yardage if there is a hole to run through..

As for using another draft pick on a back? Great we have only used our last 2 2nd rd picks on backs.

 

That is why I think we need to give Henry some work this year to at least see what we have going into the off season. I'm not real optimistic and RBs usually don't "develop" into real studs over time. RB is one of those positions either you have the burst, moves, instincts and vision or you don't. Still, C. Henry has been in the system for enough weeks it is time to give him a shot running the ball a few times per game and maybe throw him a few passes.

Once he misses a block or fumbles along with running into the backs of his OL we will know we have serious issues we need to address in the off season.

 

he'd a be a good stop gap player if we don't get turner and someone good doesn't fall to us in the draft.

 

I sure wouldn't pay him much though. He's been injured too much, and he'll be 32 next year. That's a very uncertain future. I'm tired of stop gaps, I want a long term solution. Not that I have one to argue here.

 

Fumbling the ball away is fumbling it away. His fat *** should have put it in the EZ for six. That was a huge fumble. Don't try to minimalize it. It doesn't matter if it's 1st or 4th down. He put another on the ground Sunday that was run back for six. Those were hardly meaningless fumbles.

Why are you factoring in his rookie season? In 4 games he's had just as much work as he did last year. That makes his work last year so much more insignificant. Last year he felt lucky to get in the game. This year he's Mr. Entitlement or something... All I know is that he is on pace to have eight fumbles. I know that it's unfair statistically to use regression like that but maybe I should say that he's "becoming a fumbler" rather than "is a fumbler"...

his fumbles (both of them) this year have been very big and have cost the Titans... although they both came in victories... neither did anything to help the cause. I'm just concerned that he has become fumble prone. In the 2007 season White has fumbled one away once in every 31 carries.

 

Have you noticed how he carries the ball away from his body when he is in a crowd?

 

When a marshmallow is running at a snails pace every defender has a shot at knocking the ball out or stripping it.

Monday night when he scored & he was shown jawing to the camera I just wanted to smack him in the mouth. He acts like he's the second coming yet he's shown us nothing but below average ability.

Henry might run like Stevie Wonder but at least he runs like he means business.

 

I'm glad Lendale is still getting the bulk of the carries. I think he's still improving and learning how to be a NFL back. Keep giving Lendale carries and he will continue to improve. I'd rather have one guy who can get in a groove and feel comfortable in his role than have three guys who get shuffled in and out every game cause they don't hit a 4.5 av. Vince Young has some bad games but you have to keep him in there, he's still learning. It's no different for Lendale.
