Leinart benched again?

Whisenhunt already said before the game that Warner would get some playing time. Warner is outplaying him again though.

 

Yep, using warner like a rookie letting him play a series or 2 every game. I guess they don't want leinart to lose confidence by losing the job altogether..

 

Warner is getting more than a few series.

"nd week in a row he has taken over & stayed in. Brainfart is done for the year until either they're out of the play off race or Warner has a meltdown.

 

Didn't Leinhart come in and finish the game though?

 

I think he just got to come in to kneel down and run the clock out..


Cutler had 2 turnovers and 1 td in a beat down by the Colts... Is now 4-5 as a starter..

 

By God the englishman is right. Warner had 7 more passing attempts than leinart. Leinart didn't play terrible this time but the coach has a pretty good backup in warner and wants to save his job.

 

Not true. Leinart came back in with the score 14-7 and drove the Cardinals down the field for the clinching TD, including a 38-yard hook-up to Fitzgerald.

 

This is why us re-signing Jeff Fisher was such an important move. Can you imagine a different (see: 'bullheaded) coach coming in to coach Tennessee? Can you image how a "different" offense (see: Not Vince's Style) would be a detriment to our team?

I think Matt Leinart is just getting off to a slow start, and the new coach/system may be playing a fairly large-sized role.

 

this just makes the titans look smarter each week when we took vince instead of leinart.
