If the Titans can run well, they'll always be in the game.

Vince is going to have to complete a few passes before we have a chance in either of those games. As great as today was on the ground and as unreal as Chris Brown was, it's unrealistic to think we're going to go for that many yards on the game again this year, let alone with one player. haha

Maybe the O-Line has turned the corner and we'll be solid on the ground all year as a carry over from last year. That'd be sweeeeeeeeeet.

What was the deal with Mike Peterson?

Was his job to shadow Young? The guy appeared out-of-position a lot on the run and helped to allow Brown a lot of room in the middle. I thought he was somehow watching Young but he turned his back once on Young when he ran for that first down. Very strange.

Or, just complete a few passes to "one" receiver.

Today, he completed 11 passes to eight different receivers with no receiver having no more than two.

This team is in dire need of a go to guy.

Flashback to the opener against Miami a few years back. Brown had that big opener than was hurt a lot though still had a nice season. If he can stay healthy and have a few more games like today, he'll make a lot of money next season somewhere.

    Cornerback talk.

Nick Harper played pretty well today. Most wouldn't think so, but the fact that they rarely ever threw to his side is telling of what he is capable of.
He shut down his reciever all day.
Cortland Finnegan got his butt handed to him this week. Although Cortland probably got more fantasy points, we can't expect much more from Harper, besides that pick that bounced off his hands. They picked on #31 all day, not just that one long bomb. I'm really afraid of what Manning is going to do if Finnegan plays like he did today.

I'm really disappointed that we didn't even use Griffin on defense. Unless you're the Miami Dolphins, you don't use your 1st rounder to be just a kick returner.

I like Finnegan, and he played spectacularly last year as a NB, but from what I've seen, he can't cover well enough to start. Look at the tape. It seemed like they were focusing on Finnegan. They know he's the weaker link, so they picked on him all game long.

    Man, I miss Pacman.

All that being said, we won the game. I really hope the D steps up as well as they did this week. The D-line, especially the DTs Brown and Haynesworth really brought it today.
