These are my Fav's... Not necessarily the best but I liked em. (and still do)

Randy Rhodes was my absolute favorite growing up. I would play the Crazy Train solo till my fingers couldn't take it any more.

Eddie Van Halen - Just damn good.

Jimmie Hendrix - Set the standard.

Kirk Hammett - I was a Metallica head in High School, what can I say...

Stevie ray Vaughn - I saw him play a 12 string instramental (at least i don't remember any vocals) by himself and completely rocked it out.... I was sold. I bought a 12 string shortly after that.

CC, why is so much punk rooted in rockabilly?

Seems like there's subgenres of punk rooted in every traditional style.. Rockabilly seems like one of the most natural influences with pre-existing common grounds in image/fashion etc.

BTW, bad news, guys...Sax player called me Thursday afternoon and cancelled my audition for Willie's backup band, Planetary Bandits. :irked:

Oh well, maybe another time. I'm just honored to have been offered the chance.

You have a point. I think I am my favorite guitarist. I couldn't write or perform without me. :))
