    Kitna can put up some stats.

    I think the top 5 are going to be Manning, Palmer, Brees, Bulger and Brady. Kitna might get up there with the receiving talent he has. He threw for over 4,200 yards last year, and ranked 4th in the league.

    You guys are lost. McNabb? lol are you kidding? Bulger? He'll be in the mix. Brady will put up average numbers as usual, but nothing in the tops.
    Laugh at Kitna, which shows you all know nothing.

    Kitna had 4,200 passing yards last season. This year he has Calvin Johson to take some of the pressure off Roy Williams. You guys think about that for a second. Just think about it. If Calvin Johnson gets a mere 500 yards as most would expect him to get - that'd make 4,700 yards in a season if Kitna simply played the way he did last season (note: It was his first year in the offense). Let's see, who else put up 4,700 passing yards last season? Oh! That's right. Nobody. Nobody even came close.
    So laugh. I'll keep this thread bookmarked.

    As for Cutler: The guy had 1,000 yards in his first 5 games. Vince Young had 2,199 in 13. If Cutler simply does what he did last season, excluding the obvious upgrades on offense, and his progress as a qb - he'd have 3,500 yards on the season. You think he won't get 500 yards better over his rookie season?
    So -
    Cutler = 4,000 yards passing.
    Kitna = 4,300 yards passing MINIMUM.
    And last season, there were only 5 qb's in the league to pass for over 4,000. Kitna being one of them.

    Drew Brees had 4400, so that's pretty close.

    Top five QB stats? NO WAY!

    And I once had a fantasy team called "El Kitna's"

    Uh - 4,200 yards. That's top 5 buddy. And yeah, 300 yards away from 4,700, that's close! lol

    and he still had more INTs than TDs. in my opinion, that does not make him top five.

    see, the problem with your argument is you're basing your rankings on yards alone, not the entire job of being a qb. yeah, yards are nice, but TDs and bad decisions are what will derail your whole argument.

    since when are QB passing numbers the tell all for top QBs? I would imagine TD to INT ratio, number of TDs, QB rating would play a large factor into it.

    How was Kitna in those catagories again .... :rolleyes:

    I appreciate your opinion Gloat, but I think you are blinded by your lust for Cutler as most of us are by our lust for Young.
