Earth's temperature has been rising and falling for billions of years. It's nothing new.

Global Warming is a bit more than a warmer climate.

Let me re-phrase what I said......I think Al Gore is crap.

Global Warming may be happening, but the media and Gore are foaming at the mouth with their hair on fire about the sky falling and how it is the human race's fault.

Not sure the evidence is there. Maybe I should watch the Truth movie.

I got the message loud and clear. I recorded last night's three-hour network special, and every time I saw someone on the screen who looked like they were trying to sell me a roll of bio-degradable toilet paper, I fast-forwarded to the next musical act. Saw the entire three hour special in less than two hours, shut the TV off and went to bed feeling like I did my part for the planet.

The evidence is there. And you may think Al Gore is crap, but he is dead on about this issue and absolutely correct in trying to bring it to the forefront, because it should be our biggest concern. Now, is a concert about global warming hypocritical? Probably. But at least there are some people trying to take some initiative.

I totally disagree with you about Global Warming being a problem. But that's my opinion and I totally respect you for yours. As far as Gore, I have absolutely no love for the man. However, he did invent the internet.;)

Others say Gore isn't correct at all and provide their own evidence to the contrary.

There are very few reputable scientists who disagree that humans have an impact on global warming. You can certainly find varying opinions on how much effect that humans have, and there is certainly a lot to still learn about it, but in the scientific world for the most part, it is more or less accepted as fact.

True. But then again, the majority of scientists have been warning us about it for what? 15 years now?
It took Polar Bears to begin drowning before people actually thought - Oh! Maybe we should clean up our act!
It's fact that we are raping the planet. You simply can't pollute as we do and expect no consequences. And while yes, temperatures have risen and fallen in the earth's history, other things happened with those effects. I'm sure if the humans before the ice-age thought they could have somehow slowed it's progress they would have, don't you?
