I really can't believe that we picked griffin. S was a big need for us I agree, but come on. Nelson was the better pick i believe and guess where he went? JACKSONVILLE!! I hope this pick doesn't bite us in the @$$ over the next years when vince has to deal with the ball hawk that is nelson.

reinfeldt was a safety and fish was a corner. i'd say they know what they're talking about when it comes to comparing and scouting defensive backs. i imagine they feel pretty strongly that griffin is the better choice.

What are we gonna do with the other 4 safeties on the roster then? I don't dislike the pick but I thought DE and WR were more pressing needs.

    Texas vs Florida

Who would you rather Jacksonville take, Nelson or Griffen? Nelson played Texas maybe once. Griffen played VY everyday in college. Griffen knows how to pick VY. I rather have Griffen playing for us instead of against of us.

    Reggie Nelson

    Weaknesses:
Has less than 1 1/2 seasons of Division I starting experience...Size is only average and he does not have the ideal bulk that you would prefer...Intelligence is a huge issue and he was not known to be a very good student...Not a great tackler and is often times more worried about delivering a knockout blow than he is wrapping up...He can be physically overmatched in-the-box...Has some durability concerns.

Work on the radio is that the Chargers and Titans are talking. Griffin may have been a Titan for only a couple of hours.

  7. Wow!, and I was getting hyped up about Griffin...

This is what i think we can do for the rest of the draft.

2nd Round- Trade w/ a 4th rounder to Chargers for Michael Turner
3rd Round- Quentin Moses, DE --UGA
4th Round- Eric Wright, CB --UNLV
5th Round- Tim Duckworth, OG --Auburn
6th Round- Steve Breaston, WR/Return Man --Michigan
6th Round- Marvin Mitchell, MLB --Tennessee
6th Round- Selvin Young, RB --Texas
7th Round- David Holloway, LB --Maryland

This is just a thought now, but we may have to change pending the WR situation.

That's where I'm at. I think Griffin will be great for us, but I really felt WR and DE were much more in need of help.
