Watched the vid on nfl.com and realized maybe this guy has all we need. RB that can be put into the slot to catch, good moves in the backfield, and a Returner. FL State puts good player on the field.

Fans at UF used to call him slowrenzo booker. I know he has a decent highlight reel and turned in pretty good 40 times, but I've personally never been that impressed with him (but who am I right?). He was a former top high school recruit who did little at FSU. Some of that may be due to the poor offensive line at FSU, but from what I've seen he is a guy that doesn't always play hard and at times had a bad attitude.

I don't think a "change of pace" back is what we need. I want another bruiser like Lendale to back him up. When we take White out of the game, we need to be able to still smack the opposition in the mouth.

I'm no expert on him, but I've read FSU fans basically blame his low production on a woful line, splitting carries, and even the scheme. Bottom line is he didn't produce much, so that should be held against him some....but I don't see how anyone could call him Slowrenzo unless he played soft sometimes and didn't run all out :suspect: From what I saw, he had speed and moves that were not ordinary.

Kenny Irons could be a good back for us the only thing thats scares me is his durability. Other than that I like his burst, vision, and heart. He's a good kid that gives you his all but needs to add weight, strength, and stay healthy.

Booker could be good as well as a change of pace and 3rd down back with good hands, elusiveness, and speed.

Irons would be better though incase LW fails I think Irons could carry the load witrh some more strength and weight.

I also like Pittman form OSU and B. Jackson from Nebraska.

Lorenzo Booker was horrible mis-used at FSU. If he is there when were on the clock in the 3rd round, he'll be a Titan for sure.

Everyone is stopped or slow when they make juke moves coming out of the back and breaking some ankles. I think speed is nice in a RB, but catching and cuts are better. He is kinda like a poor mans Reggie Bush.

    I wouldn't take a RB until day two. I'd take Chris Henry, and though I don't think he's a pass-catcher, per se, I like Pittman's burst better than Booker's.

I think Kenneth Darby or Garrett Wolfe are two guys who we could get in the later rounds that would be just as, if not more, effective as Booker. Darby has a comparable burst and speed at a better NFL size and Wolfe is one the most exciting players in the draft and has great hands. I also heard that Wolfe has bulked up some.
