I'm not sure anyone doubted Pacman had some issues including the FO. When you take a guy at #6 you know the FO is going to spin the media to justify their decision.

Still, I doubt anyone thought his issues would be this big of a problem and certainly Pacman was by far the best choice of the CBs they were considering from a pure talent and impact perspective. Pacman simply proved to be far less mature than anyone could have imagined.

    Soxcat is right..

Don't blame reese or fisher blame pacman. Pacman was something of a loose cannon at WVU but he really became a problem once the money came and the entourage. These were value decisions made by pacman.

In 98 the titans bypassed a possible problem child in randy moss and the decision may have cost us a super bowl or 2 given that the 99 and 2000 teams only weakness was at that position. Maybe they saw a similar situation with pacman and saw his incredible talent and couldn't pass it up. I'm not going to blame them for giving the kid a chance at stardom and big time money blame pacman for screwing it all up..

    Welcome to nashville..

Jason david you will enjoy playing for the titans and not that other afc south team that isn't even in the south. How does a 5 year deal sound?

I wonder how much "intervention" Fisher did, other than the obvious suspension? Did they get him any counseling before this all happened?

the fact is, when it came down to it, fisher didnt have the power to decide for himself to take pacman, reese needs to take responsibilty for the **** he ****s up and stop ragging on the team he isnt even a part of anymore, fisher has done nothing but good to this franchise and everyone makes mistakes, as far as im concerned reese's words mean nothing to me, simply because he is a nothing now.

Your right your also forgetting the titans consisted of
    Eddie George in his prime
    Steve mcnair
    Wychek
    Mason
    rolle
    The Dysons
    etc....
Now Pac-man is not the man that makes this team but he certainly adds something to this team that we don't have without him... he in some respects brings to the defense what VY brings to our offense, Big plays, Momentum changes, Punt returns that bring a stadium to it's feet when he runs 60 yards (for a 7 yard gain) but he makes it exciting... The downside, he didn't lose the hanger-on's that drug him down and he made bad choices.. He's a grown man and he's gonna pay for his actions, Hopefully he'll come out better for it and turn it around.. and I'll bet you money that if he does what he needs to do and turns himself around and comes back to this team you'll be screaming when he's taking an INT to the house... I'm not defending his actions, he got what he had coming but for all your talk all the time about role models don't count someone out that they can't change things around and become a better person for it...

i feel pacmans suspension has to be droopped to 8 games, it simply has to.

  8. draft chris houston and start finegann and that fixes cb, and finegann is a very good returner too, hes just as fast as pac is, he ran the 40 faster

    Funny gunny..

I just think he is a reasonably priced(money and compensation) answer to our CB problem as opposed to using a high draft pick on an unknown commodity.(see woolfolk-gardner-waddell)..

No i have no intention of making him my own personal messiah. Davidology?

The colts managed to win a super bowl with david and harper as their starting corners. Maybe the titans can make it a trend.:greedy:
