Titans just sending a message to LenDale White?

    Well, we don't really know what went on with Nash. A scary line of thinking is that we let him go because of his heart problem and that Denver played him either regardless of it or without knowing about it.....

    What about him? They didn't write him off until he came into camp overweight and then only cut him after he asked for it.

    I'd say this list proves the opposite. The only times where the star RB in college splits carries is when a team has 2 top backs. Bush/White, Cadillac/Ronnie Brown, Kevin Jones/Lee Suggs, etc. Otherwise, the top back gets the bulk of the carries (when he's healthy).

    Nash was sent away after showing up fat. That's what was said the day it happened, and that's all we knew. He was let go because he hadn't "kept himself in decent shape".

    No, Nash was relegated to the stationary bike for showing up to camp significantly overweight. He asked for his release when he wasn't allowed to practice. The Titans granted that release.

    As for White, training camp is still months away. And none of us has seen any actual evidence that he is out of shape.

    But apparently more and more teams have 2 (or more) top backs, as evidenced by the fewer players with 300 carries.

    Wasn't it a over weight Henry Ford a few years ago that Coach Fisher told to either loose it or get out? Henry lost it and if I'm remembering correctly, had a very respectful season.

    Feel free to set me straight if I'm wrong.


    Maybe the FO had other issues with D Nash.

    Is Chris Brown unproven? I never mentioned using any other RBs other than Chris Brown/LenDale. I think Chris is good, but, this guy is injury prone. Injuries from his college days at Colorado is why he fell so far in the draft. Keeping Chris a couple of years (at a cheap price), to compete for the #1 spot against LenDale, or whomever, is a good idea (training camp competition). Chris is not our future, but he can play in the NFL. Is LenDale our future? I don't think anyone knows that for sure.
