I am talking about Vigsted saying what he meant and Troll still saying he is wrong.

The Raven's owner, Steve Biscotti, did an interesting interview, which is reported in the Baltimore Sun today. The link is below. He was asked about the Pacman issue and the new league policy. If his statements are any indication of the league-wide thought about this issue, then we will retain Pacman. Biscotti's basic point was that no team should be pressured into dropping a player who has personal conduct issues, esp. a 6th overall, just to see another team pick him up. Other teams, not just the Titans, are concerned about this dynamic. This is a league-wide issue. The league should take over the role of disciplinarian.

The initial news of goodell's new conduct policy made me think that Pacman was definitely gone from the Titans, but now that I'm hearing more from sources like Biscotti I am thinking that -- after Pacman serves his jail time (if any) and his NFL time (almost a definite) -- the new conduct policy will give the Titans a fair rationale (some might call it a convenient "cover") to retain him.

The owners are having their spring meetings right now, so it isn't so outrageous to think that Biscotti is giving views that are representative of the discussions behind closed doors.

    Gunny defends pacman?

Where? show me the post? Looks like all you have done is defend vigsted and attack rolltide. And now you made racist comments about my wife.

Defending one football player doesn't make you a good guy and being critical of that football player doesn't make someone a racist. You are the one trying to make this a racial issue and then in a moment of anger your real attitudes about certain people come clear.

Now we all know for sure who the real bigot is..:moon2: :moon2: :moon2: :moon2:

    Busted!

Sometimes it is better to think about what another post says before responding. If it makes you angry, then RE-READ it. And then, read it again. It will allow you to clarify your perceptions and response.

Thanks for the reference. I agree it is encouraging that at least our loss as team will be considered if Pac is gone. I was a little concerned that there may be "banned from league" clause adopted somewhere in the policy.

you can edit the post once you've quoted it isolating the sentence or paragraph you'd like to respond to by deleting everything else, it also helps make it a bit clearer to everyone else that you are quoting someone and makes it more obvious what you're responding to, just a suggestion ;)

It's in one of those long Pacman threads where you lump in Vigsted, Riverman and myself as the 'crapping machine' and whatever other childish names you made up.
Basically the threads were common sense and the application of the law was involved. And you were on the other side of the fence.

because I agree with him and he is ultimately right most of the time.

    3rd person? how bold.

    what goes around, comes around.

never mentioned your wife or her race.

You mean like the whole WAR comment? And any other numerous derogatory Australian references you make?

Sorry but I won't take the opinion of someone who wouldn't know me from the next person he walks past to heart.

    I know who I am.
