as long as we get a reciever in one of the 1st 2 rounds im happy, now if we go and draft QB in the 1st round and OL in the 2nd then me and MR need to have a talk.

You'll actually get the same argument from me when it comes to RB. With a few exceptions, LT and LJ, your just as well off using a 3rd rounder on a RB as a 1st. QB is a similar argument, of course most teams that get a early 1st round QB don't have the time to invest in teaching the guy, he's just thrown to the wolves. Works well for some, no so well for others. It's tough to make a call on DL, what kind of stats do you want to look at? Sacks? Tackles? Tackles by LB's?

On a side note I think the meat and potatoes of football is the lines on both sides, and I don't think enough importance is placed here. It's not the glamor positions, but more times than not the OL and DL determine the outcome of the game. I also think its easier to determine a college OL's or DL's NFL future than a college WR.

you can do that with any position. i dont know where people got the idea that you can just grow WRs on the trees in the late rounds, when our own organization has shown that it is not that easy. 1 out of 13 picks(excluding dyson because he went in the 1st)

as for your sig, you have you put the link of the picture between these things

I'm confused? Are people saying WR should'nt be drafted in early rounds for the fear of them being a bust? WR is a skill postion. You can't just plug someone in there. It is not impossible to find a good WR in the later rounds but that all boils down to your scouting and getting lucky. I'm still not saying we go WR no matter what, i'm saying take the best avaliable out of WR/CB/DL/Saftey. I just think more than likely it will end up being WR because that will be the best player available.

Just because Reese was terrible at evaluating WRs doesn't mean everyone is

Johnnie Lee Higgins, WR out of UTEP. DMase prototype and projected 3rd round pick, if he busts it's just a second day pick. Succeeds and we look like geniuses.

I'm still a HUGE advocate of Bowe in round 1. If one of the better DE's falls to us then I may change my stance, but still.
