No trading. Build through the draft, dont spoil the team by wasting picks on elderly people with somewhat of an injury history.

I don't have a problem with White. I think he could be pretty good, although, it would've been nice to keep Henry... I don't blame them for not wanting to over pay. Henry has only had one decent year here and I think White will end up being the better back. We still need another one (or two)though!!

No to Julius Jones. Don't want him, don't want to pay him or sign him to 3,4,5 year contract. No. Doesn't it just seem like now is the perfect overpay for Jones time for some team?

How about, Derrick Blaylock from the Jets. If they cut him, or if they'll take a 5th or 6th rounder for him. His stats sucked last year, but he can catch out of the backfield and is somewhat speedy. Would be good change of pace to Lendale in the RBBC. And I figure Blaylock is a cheap 1-2 year deal kind of player at this point.

If that did happen, we would definately want to draft a RB on the second day of the draft. Someone that can at least get a few carries a game.

I don't buy anyone that says Lendale has no chance to be a full time starter in the NFL. I also don't buy into the fact that he will be great or the next Eddie. At this point, he could become a total bust, or a great dominating bruiser with a Hall of Fame career. No one knows.

What I do believe, if you draft someone in the 2nd round, you better at least give him a good chance to start. If not, why not just trade him now while someone would take the chance?

    Vigsted...

My point is that white had opportunities to play and could have played more if he wasn't hurt..

You are paying attention to the discussion?

    Draft a RB??

I would like to see us draft a running back in the third or fourth round. Darius Walker from Notre Dame could be a good fit for us. Great hands and a good outside runner. Ran a pro style offense at Notre Dame and could also help us in the kick/punt return game if we are without PacMan.

Yes I just couldn't figure out what exactly you were trying to say. But yes Lendale was slowed down by injury early and towards the end of the season Henry was running well and it would have been stupid to replace him.
