Personalities Big Part of Success for Titans

That is one difference between you, VinceisGod and me, I am a Titans fan now.

 

Is that face for me Ewker or for the other guy? I do agree with him on one thing. The Titans, if Collins were playing QB instead of Vince, would be near the bottom of the league and the top of the draft this coming year.

 

Wow great post. As a long time Titans fan who was stupid enough to even have season tickets to Memphis, I have followed this team closely and have never seen one player have the dynamic impact this kid has on a team's psyche. Let's not forget one thing here. He came out of college a year early, redshirt year not withstanding. Yet he has emerged as a team leader, maybe THE team leader. How amazing is that? In any venture, be it sports or business, you just don't see a newcomer have this kind of impact on those he interacts with. VY is one amazing young man who combines incredible athletic ability with instinctual, genuine leadership abilities.

Fisher said CAMARADERIE is a big part of our success. if there is great fellowship among all the players ... they all get credit.

 

Quite simply, salary cap problem led us to purge the roster of most quality starters last year.

I think we played with about 20% of our total salary cap last year tied up with players who weren't even with us anymore. We were by all means, playing with a half deck.

 

It may have been there lying dormant all this time and all it needed was someone like Vince to come along and stir it up. As VOR stated, he did it at Texas and now he is doing at Tenn. So just enjoy the show! HOOKEM TITANS!

well Vince is 8-4 as a starter and he missed 5 games. That makes 17 games out of a possible 15.

He was there just as much as everyone else, he was a part of losing as he was a part of winning. He is not the cause of winning.

Another useless statement. Of course, his personality is present but if he is on the sidelines and not in the fight maybe emotion, energy, and urgency was lacking.

He was on the team with everyone else thus a part of the losing. He is 8-4 as a starter. While not all victories can be solely attributed to VY there are some victories that has VY all over them. Take VY out of the starting lineup and insert Collins then tell me he is not the cause of winning.

Maybe you should have an open mind because right now you have on blinders for whatever reason - Merrill!
