I think some areas around Knoxville used to show Indy games over the Titans a couple of season's back. Maybe still do.

That's awesome. Reason #1,238 why the Texans were complete and utter morons to pass up Vince in the draft.

I live in Austin, and it is mainly a Cowboys city. If the Texans had taken Vince, it would have become a HUGE Texans city. Instead, the Texans have alienated the majority of Austin football fans by passing over not only Vince, but also Derrick Johnson last season, all while hiring an aggie coach. Hard to like those stupid *******s at this point. :hmm: Serves them right.

Portions of Texas and Oklahoma are getting PGH at Carolina, bet they are as thrilled as those in western FL getting Den-Arizona.

That is Cowboy country in a big way, so they probably figure Cowboy fans will be most interested in the Carolina game since it is the only one in that time slot that has any potential impact on the NFC playoff picture. My gues sis they'd get better ratings with Tenn-Jax given the number of Longhorn alumni in Dallas, but what do I know?

Understatement of the year. I live in Austin and I'm glad to see we're getting the Titan game Sunday!

After last weekend, I have friends who aren't even Longhorn fans talking about Vince and the Titans. And EVERYBODY I know is laughing at the dumb@$$ Toxins for by-passing him! :ha: What is making it worse, it appears it was Kubiak (ex-aggie) who was the main person who wanted to stick with Carr and not take Vince. They get what they deserve! :grrr: HOOKEM TITANS!

Titans...not Texans airing in Austin this week

So I happen to be checking out the weekly TV coverage map for week #15. For CBS, I noticed that the Titans will be airing in an area of central Texas (around the area of Austin) this week rather than the Texans. With Houston only being a 2.5 hour drive from Austin, how disappointing is that for local Texan fans? I understand the network needs to attempt to satisfy the majority of their viewers. Perhaps the great college QB had gained more favor than the Texans? This was shown to some degree on the amount of VY fans at the Texans game last week. If this is the case, what a smack in the face of Texans organization.
