brown is here because of AH absence............Scaife played because of injury to Kinney......remember we ran 2 TE sets 60% of the time...............Fisk was a FA so I dont get youre point................FMiller was a FA too replacing Runyan..................LT was found on the scrap heap and played behind folks until injury put him in the lineup................and he now represents the antithesis of your point.............Lowry or Fuller need to play infront of him but wont until he tears something..............

no, and that's why starks started over him his first two games.
he was third on the depth chart last year.

free agent signing who was brought in to fill the void left by runyan, he was expected to start.

like i said before, he was not a first year starter, shulters started that year. thompson played in the nickle and dime package and only started the next season because shulters broke his foot.

you and I see things 180 degrees here.................Fisher loathes rookies.............always has and always will............his MO does not fit a cap era scheme.............he is a detriment to winning with young talent............I would say if he would have made these changes in camp when it was obvious certain vets should sit we would be better W/L wise...................

So, let's take an unbiased look at our current starters.

QB: Young- we all know the story here.
RB: Henry- he played behind Chris Brown until he took his job... finally.
FB; Hall- starter from day 1, although not used much.
    WR: Bennett- don't remember.
WR: B. Jones- significant time his rookie year, but didn't take anyone's job.
TE: Troupe- played behind Kinney in two TE packages.
TE: Scaife- emerged due to teammate VY, Troupe's inconsistency, and Kinney's injury.
OT: Roos- starter from day 1, Hopkins was gone.
OG: Bell- took numerous injuries for him to get a shot to start permanently.
OC: Mawae- FA, established veteran, brought here to play.
    OG: Olson- don't remember.
    OT: Stewart- lol.

DE: KVB- FA, brought in to play.
    DT: AH- drafted to start.
DT: Starks- spot starter, hasn't taken anyone's job.
DE: Smith- signed due to lack of depth/production.
    OLB: Bulluck- lol again.
MLB: Tulloch- replaced an injured and pathetic Sirmon.
OLB: Thornton- FA, signed to start.
CB1: PacMan- drafted to start, but had to catch up due to holdout.
    CB2: Finnegan- injuries...
    CB3: Fuller- injuries...
FS: LaMont- FA, how he keeps his job, the world may never know.
SS: Hope- FA, signed to start.

The real ISSUE is how the team mistreats its vets. Randall Godfrey ... still playing well for the Chargers. The McNair debacle. Lo Neal. Jason Fisk. Robaire Smith. Blaine Bishop.

Its a freaking shame that Munchak, Matthews, and Wycheck are amongst a precious few guys who finished where they started (or in Frank's case where he found a life in the NFL).

Like Jerry Glanville said, its the Not For Long league ... Ty Calico found that out this season, so did Billy Volek. Not much loyalty to anything other than wins.

    Neal was cut
    Fisk was cut
    Robeast was a Free Agent
    Bishop was cut

    big deal?

Code................you have to mistreat them ...................that is what creative destruction is...............everyone single one of them need competition..............but even when Reese finds it Fish buries it......................THAT IS THE CRUX OF THE ISSUE...............you just chose to side with Fish.

FR has only missed on one cut in my view.................Gary

Again, you guys want to justify why or how a guy got on the field. He got on the field because Fisher put him there.

Bongo, you and I agreed on VY ... but at the same time ... it was a 4 week difference of opinion ... and every week VY shows us why he could have used a year behind Mac holding the clipboard. Mac isn't here because Bud and Floyd didn't want him here.

The rest is just argument for argument's sake. Roos, Hill, Jones, Odom/Laboy, Starks, Hall, Brandon Jones ... everyone a clear rookie starter.

We absolutely disagree on Fisher. You want him fired. I think he should be extended.

We probably disagree on the coaching staff. I think Chow needs to be gone. And I think Schwartzy probably needs to be retained (I know, I'm an idiot).

Right or wrong, Fisher has played the cards dealt to him ... and those cards are now largely young, inexperienced, and in at least three cases, off the field basket cases.

Despite that, the team have won 3, been in all but 2, and is playing reasonably well given the absolutely abysmal play at the QB position for the 10th consecutive week.
