He is seldom wrong... it's only because he isn't guessing and has been told in so many words by someone who does know. It's not hard at all for me to imagine Clayton putting a call into Jeff Fisher himself. You know we will see Vince Young. How do we know? Clayton said so. Clayton was talking this Collins will start stuff yesterday before this story was put out... He's pretty reliable.

Did you see the "Inside Training Camp" on NFL network a couple of weeks back?

They focused on some one on one passing drills. The receivers would catch a ball from Vince and they would jaw back and forth, and run the ball back to Vince like it was a baby, burp it feed it, etc. Lots of jawing and yelling.

Billy came in for some throws, and they receiver did the same thing in bringing the ball back to Billy. Billy looked like someone had just handed him a turd. No more laughing, no more yelling, no more fun.

I think if you are having fun, it makes a big difference, for the same reasons the home field gives you an energy burst. I always thought that is why Magic Johnson was so good. He just friggin loved to play basketball. And it is scientifically proven that you expend less energy if you are happy. That said, I have no idea what Billy has been doing.

A little from column A, a little from column B.

Then, when he starts throwing INTs most of the time, the crowd will get into a rythm of booing him on sight.

Not a huge Cutler ir Vince argument fan, and definitely hate to go here again, But the qualities touched on by this writer for "Chow's QB" falls back to a guy named Cutler.. Check down... Make the decision...and gun it ....or outlet......Read , Read, shoot, ...as quick as possible... The desire for Chow now falls on VY learning these traits ASAP, and continuing to be the threat he is with his legs, WO getting beat up like Steve. BV does not have this .... Collins can stabilize and make plays...
Peediction: BV is traded last minute..Today..... or released.....

one thing i have noticed is vince has always been good about getting out of bounds, but once he's in the 20, he'll put his head down.

I doubt the veracity of this article as well. I mean come on, Billy V is the poster child of Hard Work in the NFL. Let's see, he wasn't supposed to be the man in college, but he worked hard and kept a future #1 overall draft pick on the bench. He was an UFA, and made the team. He made this team for 6 years and moved up from nothing to a starter, and they say now that his work ethic is bad, at almost 30 he's going to become suddenly lazy?
Billy's poor play is the reason he is going to leave town soon. He's not bad, he's just not good enough. He's not a good fit in this offense, he looked bad last season. He does hold the ball too long, and without good running ability it leads to sacks and hits on the QB, which in turn leads to his inability to stay healthy. Great guy, Hard worker, Hard Truths.
I wish him well. But I would rather see Collins in there until Vince is ready.
