I don't think the ball "popped" out from Goodwin. He didn't have it. I think Walden had Goodwin's arm, then when they hit the ground, Goodwin bounce closer.

You think, but that's not what is shown. Can't overturn it.

I was screaming at the TV from home because I knew we were screwed when they stopped showing the angle that actually showed the ball. They gave us a great angel that showed it, clearly. Then they showed 3 replays of a view that didnt show crap.

At the end of the day, this is what happens when you let bad teams hang around. One or two calls that don't go your way result in you losing.

We can blame a bad call here and there, but this should not have been a game in the fourth quarter.

    yep...

judgement call. Had they called it an INT, like it was, zero chance that would have been overturned.

They didn’t show any until the review was almost done.

They did show a slow mo of garapalo being hit as he threw.

There's still photos. Here is a video from both the front and back angles: 20171218_013340.mp4 - Google Drive

Not only did the WR not catch the ball, he never made physical contact with the ball. His hands were AT ALL TIMES outside of Walden's hands.

Unless the NFL has adopted a new Transitive Property Catch rule, in which you can be awarded the catch if you control the hands that are controlling the ball, then there's no logical explanation why this call should have stood as a catch.

I understand it being called a catch on the field, because it looks like simultaneous possession in full speed, and that should go to the offense. But when you look at the replays, there is NO WAY you can say the WR had any possession of the ball at any point in time, because he never physically touched the football.

It's mind blowing, to me. It's even worse than the Miami fumble, because there is no judgement call to this, there is no interpretation of a rule. It's a direct question of integrity and competence ... how can you say a man caught an object when he never physically touched the object?

We lost this game outright, but it is insane how every single frickin call has gone against us this year. Calls that are obvious go against us, it’s insane!

Hit the lead, force a FG or 3-and-out, and the offense goes into extreme Fisher mode.
