    No way this happens. There is only 2 scenarios with his next contract.

    1) He actually plays well enough next year to warrant his 5th year option, and if he trends upward, he's gonna get paid even if he is just average. Look at players like Dalton, Tannehill, Taylor, etc.

    2) If he continues trending downward, they probably decline the option and look elsewhere at QB.
