Henry or Murray aren't the problem, problem is they are too similar. We need a back that can bounce it to the outside, add something different to the offense. Every team knows what we are doing, up the middle for 2-3 yds.

Adoree has succeeded with his limited plays and he's what 180-190 lbs?

Maybe we can get John Kelly from Tennessee in the 3rd/4th rnd.....but I doubt he lasts that long.

Kid can definitely ball.. I love the way he plays. Get him behind a real OL and he will do some major damage.. He'll be around in the 3rd round to be had.

Yeah 1.8 yards a carry so far this game, a real bell cow to hang your hat on.

They literally have 1 decent lineman right now. Line has been decimated by injuries.

If this team keeps Mularkey, draft Saquon Barkley next year in the first if he declares.

I know this team has other needs, like edge rusher, another DB, or a legit NT, but this team is worthless without a running game.

Mularkey can probably actually run this lame ass offense with some sort of success with a legit RB.

You guys are crazy, Henry is a beast. He needs more touches. I guarantee if given 15+ touches he will break 100 every damn time. The best way to get the most out of Henry is to get him the ball early and often.

Henry is a beast. But for some reason, he is not running to his strength. I think it's poor coaching. He is versatile and CAN run both as a bruiser and a one cut physical runner. He has excellent burst.

For some reason he is being overly patient IMO. He has developed a stutter step while he's looking for a crease rather than blasting a gap downhill and picking up 3-5 yds. As a result LB's are maintaining excellent gap control and there just isn't anywhere to go. If he blasted, the non-gap LB's would commit to run support because carries so much mass and create some creases. He'd have to run behind his pads more on those runs.

Right now he just stutters, stays upright and is looking for a crease. He's dropped in the backfield WAY too much and then uses his mass to net 1 or 2 yards on most runs.

I don't think more carries would change anything until he changes his style. Maybe this is another bad product of this scheme- I don't know.

If this team keeps Mularkey and this staff for an extended period of time, we won't need to worry about Henry or Mariota producing. They will bolt in FA and wouldn't surprise me if Lewan went with them

Henry is really not the answer as being "the guy".. he has no initial burst, we need a guy that can hit the hole aggressively and quickly.. Henry takes too long to get going, so it's constantly either 2-3 yard gains or 10+. I'd rather have consistent 5-7 yard gains and see that the runner is giving some effort every play.

Henry looks like "uh well there was no huge hole so i'll walk ahead for a yard and go down"
