Call me crazy but Davis reminds me of AJ Green. I'm still happy with the pick because we needed to give MM a true number 1 and I think Davis will still end up the best receiver in his class. But what the hell do I know, I'm the same person who proclaimed that Lavale Hawkins would be good.

Also, props to Corey Davis saying he deserves the blame for two of MM's interceptions.

That's who I thought of. Davis doesn't have quite that length, but he's fairly close. Just a tad more broad, but has similar movement skills and speed.

Marcus expects his receivers to come to the ball. Take a look at how many passes he's thrown to Walker and Matthews where he's done that. I want Marcus to keep throwing with that expectation. That's what good QB/WR/TE combinations do to keep the chains moving.

In the Davis interview after the game it was pretty obvious he was upset with himself. I really only blame Davis for the 2nd interception...Mariota threw it to the spot Davis was supposed to be, but he ran a lazy, rounded IN route and let the DB get position. If he would have ran a more precise route, he would have been in better position.

I think we need to throw him the ball more. Seems like it only gets thrown his way 2-3 times a game. I honestly think walker gets most of the throws which tells me Mariota is struggling to scan the field. Seems like he's looking one way every play.

Chit he got 10 targets against the Bengals. He’s getting looks.

Simple fact is he just hasn’t had enough practice. We have to limit his live action learning until he can make plays or at least until we have a game in hand. I’m against MORE targets.

WRs dont truely hit their potenial until their 2nd/3rd yr. I know his a high pick and is suppose to contribute right away but there is no chemistry whats so ever w/Mariota. He spent his training camp and preseason game either injured or he wasnt showing up to games because of his contract. Maybe he should of have been worried about building chemistry rather then worry about rookie money.

Lets quit messing around, Davis should get less snaps and targets. We were winning without him so his impact is minimal. He came back got the start and got 10 targets first game and 7 last game. We need to keep featuring Rishard as the primary. Decker and Taylor should get more opportunities than Davis, they have produced more than him.
