What is really going to be bad; is when we face the Steelers..... I am afraid it is going to look like a JV team playing against a SB team.

Nah. We will do fine in that game. We get up for the marquee games against big opponents.

It’s games like week 17 vs the jags and whatnot that we trip over our #%*!

Big Ben has been inconsistent. Lets hope we get the Big Ben that throws 5 picks!

Mularkey has on a consistent basis; fielded a team that is not prepared to play on either side of the ball. We have yet to start a game on offense where we look even competent; let alone prepared. We have won games by playing decent after half time; and opposing teams killing themselves w/ penalties. It's not like we have played good games & won them by our merits as a team. We have won games by the opposing teams letting us win.

The Colts game was a semi-complete game. However, once we found something that worked; Mularkey promptly dropped it in the very next game. In the game today we did not use play action hardly at all. We did not target Decker until very late in the 4th IIRC. Granted he dropped the 2 passes he did get. However, I can understand that. Playing 55 minutes w/o any targets & then get 2 has to feel odd.... They hit his hands; he should've caught them. It's the point that we finally looked like an NFL offense for 1 game vs the Colts; and when that happens our HC decides that's not us..... We cannot play that type of offense. It works..... So let's go back to the predictable HS **** that everyone is ready for; and has already figured out.

The bad thing is we had the best schedule possible to win this division. The talent is there on this team to be a real NFL offense. Yet the coaching staff continues to hold this team back. I have no faith we will win this soft division. The truth is, if Mularkey cannot do it this year; he is not ever going to get it done. Just my opinion.

I'm worried about Bell and Brown, can't be giving Brown 8 yard cushions. We can't start off slow and only come away with 3 pts. Very worried about another chit game play calling from Robiskie.

Even so; we just kicked FGs for every score we got against the BROWNS! Imagine how we are going to play against a team that actually has its starting CBs, a real QB, a WR1, & legit RB.......

Our CBs routinely play 10yds off WRs. Knowing Mularkey he will want McCain covering Brown...... Imagine what that would look like.... LOL.

It just seems like there is not a good decision made by the Coaching staff of this team. Yet they continue to receive a pass by the media, the GM, & most of all the ownership of the team. It's a joke. How can a HC be this bad, field a team unprepared to play against the worst team in the NFL; and continually get away with it???? It drives me nuts to see the potential that this team has..... All the resources we have invested in the offense; & ignored the defense........... Yet we continually flounder on offense. The game plans are horrific based on who we are facing..... And when a team shuts down our run game we have NO offense; because the coaching staff is not capable of putting an alternate plan in place. Or are so convinced they are so amazing; there is no way another team can stop their plan.

Either way they are routinely failing to put our offensive players in situations to succeed. They particularly put our QB in horrible passing situations; by only passing in obvious passing situations. No QB in the NFL is going to regularly be successful in those type of situations. NONE.

For a guy who "Has a successful record of developing young QBs" (As Underwood & AAS said) this guy seems like he is completely lost on how to use Marcus. After a pretty great game against the Colts w/ their starters; we completely dump that strategy vs a team w/o it's starters in the secondary.

    OK done bitching now.....

No reason to even think about it at this point IMO......... Mularkey is here to stay at least another year. TBH I will NOT be shocked if he gets an extension after this season. AAS is in love w/ Mularkey. No matter how much it does not make sense for the team; she likes the guy. He is most likely staying no matter how bad this team plays the rest of the season. I would bet if we lost the rest of the games this season; Mularkey will still be HC next year.

It's all I can expect from this Front Office/Ownership at this point. After that farce of a "HC Search" I cannot imagine AAS parting ways w/ the winner we now have.

NOT what I want; but certainly what I expect.
