I wish I would have kept count on how many times they said "mariota can't scramble, mariota has to stay in the pocket." It's like his injury is the only thing worth mentioning, the entire game. Dozens upon dozens of times.... WE GET IT.

Agree Henry needs the ball more.... It's crazy, but we seem to win when he has more carries at RB. The TNean published an article about the Titans' winning percentage when Henry has more than 7 carries. Here it is:

I think it has more to do w/ Murray looking like he is running in slow motion than anything else. Last night & really every game this year; Murray just is not moving well. IDK if he has actually slowed down this much, is hurt; or just trying to do too much when he has the ball.

Anyway it goes; it's time to Henry to start getting more carries. I know he will get shoe-string tackled on several plays. That drives me NUTS for such a big guy. However, he seems to get by guys when he needs to as well. I think he was averaging something like 4.9/carry before his big run last night (If the stats they put on the screen were right) & 6.8 after the big run..... IIRC. I could be mistaken on the numbers; but it was something crazy like that anyway.

The problem is every time he gets the ball on offense it is on a jet sweep or some crap. I think they have thrown to him deep like 3 times. 2 of which he has caught for big completions & 1 for a TD...... I think it has more to do w/ how the coaching staff has chosen to use him than what he is capable of doing.

IMO we should be throwing deep to this guy at least 3 times a game. He has proven he will get separation & go get the ball. Which is more than we can say about most of our WRs...

Not sure I actually saw any tackling the first half. I am still a little hoarse from all my “coaching” at the tv.

Mariota did get a bogus roughing the passer call earlier on, I think things evened out, overall.

it's a flaw of the NFL and football in general.. too much is completely up to what the referee "Sees" whether it's actually real or not.

mariota was supposed to stun block the DE coming off so Mariota could throw the flat route.
