Should Kalan Reed be Starting?

    thats basically what Im saying too, guys ahead are simply better than Reed. I want Sims and Jackson in there as much as possible, not Reed

    they try everyone with the 1's in practice, if hes not making it into games with the 1's he hasnt done it well enough at practice...

    This is the preseason, it's the perfect time to see what he can do against 1's.

    I'd love to see him rotate in some against the Bears' first team. Even if he doesn't start in the regular season, it'd be a big thing to get him some experience in case of any injuries.

    As a Bears and Titans fan, I feel confident in saying that the Titans DBs will be tested harder against Trubisky and the 3rd string receivers than Mike Glennon and whomever they trot out as starters. Cam Meredith may be the lone receiving exception as a starter. Bears starters get no separation and when they do Glennon either throws a flutter ball or is terribly inaccurate.

    CB and WR are gonna be keenly watched against the Bears. Beyond Ryan, who are 2, 3, and 4 and who's staying on the roster. At wr, with Davis and Decker hurt and Matthews a given, significant playing time for the others to prove their worth!

    Like Brave said, usually you earn reps in practice and then get to do it in games. He's played well in games so far (which is great), but against lesser competition. They'll give him more reps against 1's and see how he does. But everyone in our secondary (especially CB) need lots of reps!

    He has elite speed imo. I've never seen anyone catch up like that.

    Best tackle 40 yards downfield already down by 28 points I've ever seen.
    Seriously though, Harris is blazing fast in his own right and had an angle.

    He won me over with that play. Not just the display of athleticism, but his mentality. He's as tough and competitive as they come.

    Reed seems destined to be a great story. Mr. Irrelevant, pre-season overachiever, slowly working his way up the depth chart. Hopefully that is what he becomes, as opposed to a toilet scrubber like @Roscoes Wetsuit
