A lot of big talk considering they beat the heck out of us the last game, knocked Mariota out and took the playoffs away from us!!!

Notice how we thought we'd just show up and they'd lay down and let us give them a beating. Instead, they smacked us in the mouth!

Sound familiar (Jets game last week)? Every time we think we are hot stuff, we lay a goose egg and get smashed. As under dogs, we come to play most of the time! Unfortunately, I think this is more of a coaching/attitude problem and I'm not liking what I'm seeing so far.

The Jags were bad last season and we were as good as we've been in a long time...and we still split with them. And the arguably WORSE Texans won the division. Last year we SHOULD have gone 4-2 at WORSE and yet...we aren't winning the division games we should.

Jags suck? Let's sweep them and make it so!!!

Amen brother. There is literally no excuse now. We should go 5-1 in the division and anything less should be addressed

The Florida Times Union's Ryan O'Halloran believes "it would make perfect sense" for the Jaguars to cut Blake Bortles this summer.

Whew. It would be quite the turn of events, but 1010 XL Jacksonville's Hays Carlyon suggested a similar thing Friday morning. The No. 3 overall pick in the 2014 draft, Bortles has melted down this summer, first experiencing a "tired arm" last weekend, whether that was an excuse by coach Doug Marrone in order to see more of Chad Henne or not, and then Bortles completely hitting rock bottom in Thursday's preseason game. He forced throws, missed wide-open big plays, and even his completions were a chore. Bortles' 2017 salary is guaranteed, but the Jaguars can't let Bortles on the field and expose him to injury, which would kick in a guarantee of his $19 million salary for 2018. Henne is the favorite to start

I hope garbage time Brady pulls some garbage time magic the rest of pre-season. Just for them to keep him and he sucks come regular season.

Keep that team in the cellar of the league.

I just watched every throw from last nights game, there were only 3 bad throws, although when he missed he missed big and on wide open targets.. But still just 3 mistakes by Bortles...

IDK why theyd bench that in favor of Henne or anyone else..

Speaking after Thursday's preseason game, Jaguars coach Doug Marrone refused to commit to Blake Bortles at quarterback, and said he's competing with Chad Henne.

"It's this simple: I'm looking for the best person to lead this offense," Marrone began. "It's right up there for grabs, and either person can take it. ... (Bortles has) got to go earn it." Marrone refused to even shut the door on third-stringer Brandon Allen. They're the comments of a desperate man following a fiasco of a performance from Bortles on Thursday. Bortles seems to have regressed instead of progressed on his dismal 2016, showing stunningly awful ball placement while looking like a quarterback lacking for confidence. Henne was scarcely better, but Marrone could probably convince himself Henne is more manageable than Bortles' unwieldy motion.
