OK- I'll bite. What 16 players drafted in Round 1 have had less of an impact than 5 tackles and 1 sack?

We have to take into consideration that he's behind two double digit sack players, and struggled with injuries. I mean, that's a huge consideration.

But in the first round, Goff, Hargreaves, Rankins, Lawson , Lee, Doctson, Treadwell, Jackson, Lynch, Clark, Garnett, Nkemdiche, Butler, Ifedi are all guys who has poor or non-existent rookie campaigns. Not quite 16, but 11 of those players who I just named were selected at pick 19 or later. So 11 out of 13 of the guys selected in that span were either bad, injured, or replacement-level guys thrust into more action that they should have been.

    1 sack

    Hargreaves
    76 tackles
    9 PD
    1 int

Hell even Jaylon Smith is participating at a higher rate than Dodd right now

As I stated, they were replacement level players thrust into starting roles.

Hargreaves allowed something like 1,000 yards, 70+ percentage completion rating, and a QB rating of over 100 when thrown his way. Probably a reason why he has so many opportunities for tackles.

Darron Lee allowed a passing rating of over 130 when the ball has been thrown into coverage , and had a PFF run stop rating of 54th out of 60. He was awful at literally everything, one of the worst LBs in the league overall.

    So yes, those guys sucked.

I like this pick up. If nothing else it serves as a wake up call to Dodd that the 3rd OLB spot isn't just going to be handed to him. If he wants play time he's gonna have to earn it. Or else he could be out of the league without ever getting a payday.

Or they just see guys they like because they scout them so much more often than other teams.

If you look at our roster, you'll surely understand why we'll "take anyone".

Couldn't give a F less if he mentions Middle Tennessee or not. Who cares?

Why is it more/less important to mention a college over a HS?
