Got it. Although I question Ryan having the frame to add enough weight to play G.

This isn't rocket science. Who are free agents we could have gotten over the last two off-seasons who would be starters on this team and be difference makers. Come up with your own list. I've posted many players several times.

Or do you think there are no players in the last two free agency periods that could improve this team? Second question, are there no free agents we could have gotten who were better than other guys we DID sign??? Would you rather have Harry Douglas and Sly Williams or Brandon Williams for example?

Please quote when I said free agent signings are foolproof and can never fail? Since you can't, please don't bother saying stuff like that since it is silly.

Just as silly is your defending NOT spending money on free agents because they COULD fail. If you don't spend any money...do you have a chance to improve? Is Wesley Woodyard all of a sudden gonna become Ray Lewis?

Great plan! Instead lets get castoffs from other teams and overpay them and HOPE we can get something out of them!!! Much lesser chance at failure, right? WRONG!

I'd rather get guys who played near or at the top of their position in the NFL than guys who were failing last year so their original teams didn't want them...even at market value contracts. THAT should worry you more than taking a chance on a guy who was a top 5 cb last year and yet, you don't seem to see that side of the argument...?!?!?

And there are plenty of examples of big time free agents paying big dividends for their teams. So you want to spend nothing on the chance it doesn't work out? Man, you must really have little faith in JRob's ability to pick talent for this team or simply much happier taking chances on a lot of $4-5mil players who will work out less often and when they do, only give us a solid starter instead of a difference maker!

Has EVERY team that spent big on free agents gone to the Super Bowl? No. But NO team has gone to the Super Bowl - let alone won a Super Bowl (the goal) with $50mil in unused cap space. So your strategy is ZERO CHANCE while my strategy IMPROVES our chances!

    And try reading my posts.

I never said give Bouye $16mil. Strike one.

I never advocated for Hankins at all...let alone give him $10mil. Strike two!

And we will have a lot more in cap next year than $34mil! You might want to understand how the cap works before you just pick numbers to try and make a point badly. Strike three!

It's not rocket science, but personnel management is out of your league. Brandon Williams wasn't going anywhere, which is what happens to the quality FAs who are worth what they are getting paid. Everyone else is left fighting for scraps. You can't just point to a few contracts and say that we could be spending that money on a star player, because you'd have to pry them away from their team first, which isn't happening.

    Kinda like Delaine Waller, huh?

You have been implying this whole time that if we add the guys that you have been talking about, and our team will instantly be better. It doesn't work like that.

Please quote me where I said don't spend any money on free agents because they can fail? Since you can't, please don't bother saying stuff like that since it is silly.

Again, please quote me on this. Since you can't, please don't say stuff like this as it is silly.

Oh $4-5 million dollar players only become solid starters? Like Delaine Walker? Kurt Warmer? Emmanuel Sanders? Cameron Wake? Im sure there's plenty others I am forgetting. You're right those guys weren't "difference makers". Only solid starters for their team...

Your avoiding the question. Tell me YOUR list over the past two years who YOU think would have put this team over the top, because it's YOUR argument to defend not mine. Or do you always make generalized statements without the balls to back it up? Because no s**** bringing in talent helps this team, but whose this so called talent who we could of had?
