We got Corey Davis and a CB in the 1st Round. We got a slot WR, a TE, 2 LBs, 2 Olinemen, and a change of pace running back.

    That's 9 Players out of a 7 Round Draft.

Second, by the time Pre Season starts, we'll have a lot of CBs and Safeties on our 90 man roster. We'll be fine.

Where do you see that about Taylor? I've been watching him and reading his scout reviews and route running seems to be a huge strength of his. The only reason I could see anyone saying this is as an assumption because they had him running so many bubble screens in college just to get the ball in his hands as often as possible.

That was according to Lance Zierlein on his NFL.com draft profile under his weaknesses. I quote..."Feasted on bubble screens, jet sweeps and several catch-and-run plays. Route variances could create some issues in systems requiring more timing. NFL route work will have to be more focused with less freestyle. Body catcher who will have the occasional focus drop. If he doesn't work back harder to his quarterback, body catches could turn into issues with contested catches. Lacked quality cornerback competition across from him for most of his career. Very aware of where safeties lurk in middle of the field."

I haven't watched enough tape of him yet to agree or disagree, but he watches more tape leading up to the draft than I do. If true, seems a bit odd. On the other hand, I think they saw his quickness/change of direction similar to Edelman or Cole Beasley and look at what those guys do for their QB's!

I like Taylor a lot (even if I feel we overdrafted him).

Ugh! Hasn't anyone learned NOT to trust PFF?!?!?

Since PFF doesn't run the combine and the NFL does, you MIGHT want to use the combine's OFFICIAL measurements...which was 5'10" and 186lbs!!!

The more important point is, not exactly how tall he is, but can he play with big wr's. I think the answer right now is definitely MAYBE! He has the skills and athleticism and body control to high point the ball. The question is, what happens when he's getting boxed out like a basketball power forward against a point guard.

Good thing is, he's gonna get PLENTY of reps against Davis in practice so that's a good start!

I didn't pull his height from PFF, just the rankings of those CBs. While I agree that their ratings aren't very accurate, it's hard to argue that these aren't ten of the top CBs in the league and that the majority of them are under 6' tall. I got 5'11" from his bio on USC's page: http://www.usctrojans.com/sports/m-footbl/mtt/adoree_jackson_908769.html
But even knowing now that he measured 5'10" does not affect my belief that a smaller corner can be a lockdown #1 in this league.

Are there many 6'5" WRs in the NFL?

I see a more mature Adam Jones in Jackson, I hope we got it right this time.

If you look at the press conference photos of JRob, Davis, Adoree and Mularkey all standing side by side, Adoree looks tiny. Davis looks a half a foot taller than him and he's only listed at 6 2.75".

We'll see if he can match up with the bigger guys, or if he gets taken for a ride.

Just for reference, he's the smallest Player taken in the first round since Tavon Austin...
