Yeah I'm still ok with how this draft panned out. Did we need to improve the defense more than the offense ? Sure.

But Mariota is now set for years with Davis, Sharpe, Taylor, Smith etc assuming they all pan out.

They got Logan and Cyprien in the offseason that's a major upgrade from what it was - then got the versatile, playmaking DB in the draft - once again another big upgrade

Sure I would have liked a MLB but man I can't wait to see this offense tick ! As for the defense - still involving but the few moves that were made so far have all made sense - lets see this play out and go defense heavy in the 2018 draft ;)

Ryan and Jackson should improve CB considerably.

Cyprien upgrades SS. Byard should do nothing but improve.

Why will the defense not be improved?

IF one believes MM8 is special then the QB deserves the weapons

not saying I dont agree with you to an extent but IMO 2017 Titans success is dependent upon MM8

    This.

People are acting like we are rolling into next season with the same crew of misfits from last season.

Ryan and Jackson should be nice upgrades, plus Sims seemed to really step up with more reps. I'm sure there will be late rounders and UDFAs brought in to compete for depth also.

It's basically an all new secondary outside of young guys that have played pretty well so far.

Do you think Logan Ryan is a #1 CB?

Adorable little boy Jackson was/is considered extremely raw as a CB prospect and was higher on charts due to his return abilities, so you're gonna start him and he's an upgrade over who? He's a prototype slot CB. Do you think he'll ever be an outside CB?

some might say we have 2 nickel CBs and Sims, seems like a big swing for someone who has extra return abilities but would never be a #1 CB.

A run first corner, a run only safety, and a punt returner. That may be better than Perrish Cox but I'm not getting my hopes up. Our coverage will still suck, and Luck will still blitz us and score 30 points against us. I can only hope Bortles doesn't again, that ***** embarrassing.

He is right now as he upgrades McCourty.

I suspect he'll cover the slot this season and move out in '18.

You guys allow his outstanding return highlights to overshadow that he won the Thorpe Award. Why is that?

Are you saying Ryan is a #1 by default? I wanted to know if you truly believed Ryan is a #1 CB.

I don't know if we are letting Jackson's return highlights overshadow the Thorpe, but he wasn't ranked in the top 5 CBs for a reason, yet he went 2nd? In my opinion his draft position got bumped up more for his return skills over coverage skills.

Can you see Jackson being a #1? I have a hard time probably bc of his size
