The Jets are desperate to get something, anything for Shelly Dickson. Word out there is he can be had for a 3rd or a 4th. Whether you like the guy or not, that is value.

Richardson is a total turd. I just don't see him fitting the JRob team guy.

As a player he is going into his contract yr so you might get a Haynesworth style effort from him. I would never pay him big money on a long term deal.

Your hope is to get a great yr out of him and then hope some team signs him to a big fa deal getting you a comp pick

Even with all the questions , yes. He and Casey together could cause some real chaos. Them chasing Bortles and whatever the Toxins have at QB round the field could be quintessential viewing.

Any team who trades for him would want to have a long-term deal agreed to first.

    4th. 3rd is overpaying, 4th is perfect.

I don't think you have to have a long term deal in place as long as you aren't giving up a premium pick for him.

Just think of it as a 1 yr rental. He should be motivated to give you a good yr.

I do not think he is a JRob guy and I don't think it is an area of need, but if you can get him for peanuts I wouldn't have a problem with it.

If we could get him for a 4th or 5th, I'd do it. I'm not sure exactlt how comp picks are given out, but like titans2004 said, hopefully if he leaves we'd get at least a 5th comp pick out of him. A one year rental trading a 4th for a 5th, good deal to me.
