I would definitely bring him in for a visit and have him explain all this stuff to me...from his childhood peeps to this failed drug test, put him on the board, put game tape on the screen and have him explain the defense, checks and calls and really see what he knows or doesn't. Have him watch film like Gruden does with QB's in his 'qb camp' and say, why'd you do that? What were you thinking? What did you see here? Who or what were you reading?

I think IF you're gonna possibly draft Foster, he's a guy you really wanna get to know and have as good a feel for him as possible so you know where and how to value him.

I don't touch Jaylon Smith any earlier than midway through the 3rd round, and this doesn't drop Foster out of the 1st for me.

A knucklehead getting in trouble has a chance to turn it around, but you'll never see a one-legged guy play LB in the NFL.

I agree with you in regards to poor decision making, the stingers, shoulder surgery and being on the light side. But, that's the beauty of drafting a pure caveman, he won't sit there and collectively contemplate his future as a financial analyst or some crap, he's only gonna be one thing in his life...he's not Chris Borland or Jake Locker, this dude is a box of rocks that has no life skills outside of tackling people on the football field. I'd take that everyday and twice on Sundays.

Plus, with his athleticism, his frame could easily hold an additional 12-16 lbs.

Yay for cavemen. I don't want soft LBs.

I agree, the point we are both making is he is probably not off the Titans board yet.

He played at that weight for Alabama and wasn't nearly as effective/athletic and had knee problems.

If you draft him and bulk him up, you might not get what you are drafting.

    What?

His urine was diluted and he got upset over his wait time at the doctor (because no one has ever done that). That's worse than Joe Mixon? Myles Jack or Jaylon Smith injuries? Hell, I'd be more worried about his teammate Tim Williams.
