Aaron Rodgers sat and learned for 3 years as QBs did then. Stupid comparison. Positions completely different. And I doubt his attitude was call into quapestion by his head coach the way Dodd's was.

Didn't address WR- a glaring need. Now have to do it in draft.

I think the attitude thing was clarified to be him being 21 and scared about permanent damage to his foot. MM pretty much said as much when they announced he was going on IR. Does that possibly call in to question his toughness? Sure. But I don't think we can throw many rookies under the bus until they have played a year or two - except Phat Chance. The only reason maybe not to throw Warmack under the bus is it would wreck the bus.

Dudd will be 25 in mini-camp. What a TERRIBLE pick.

I don't recall that. I do emember Mularkey complaining that they were wanting Dodd to push harder in practice but he didn't. And that translated in near zero production in games he did play he was easily handled.

I don't recall anything about Dodd's concern for permanent damage to his foot......Not saying he didn't put it out there...I am saying that Mularkey unquestionably said, "He was benched for performance. He is healthy and needs to give better effort & he knows that." Mularkey also said, "Several other players have played without limitations this far removed from this surgery & this type of injury."

Maybe the kid comes back this year ready to play & makes a great turn around. For the sake of the team I think everyone posting here HOPES that happens. I think that most of us are being REALISTIC. Realizing that MOST guys with these types of effort/mental issues do not pan out. If the HC is calling his effort into question publicly than there is a BIG issue there.

There are some ignorant people calling posters "Idiotic & Lacking Football I.Q." while posting Aaron Rodgers did not produce in his 1st 3 yrs. (BTW Rodgers sat behind Farve for his 1st few years....) This poster is openly saying his is a GB fan yet does not know his QB sat behind one of the best QBs ever......AND questions others' Football I.Q??????????????? C'mon.

BTW......Rodgers was drafted in 2005........did not start until 2008.....If you are talking about his 1st 3yrs as a starter well.....IN 2010 he led the team to a SB win & was named SB MVP.....I would say that was pretty successful.

Know YOUR TEAM before you TRY to tell anyone else about their own.

Yeah, I'm sure Rodgers learned nothing and didn't develop at all in his first 3 years. Dodd could flame out, or he could turn out to be a solid player. An injury-plagued rookie season should not be used as any indication of how his career will turn out.

You did not say anything about how much a player learned. You said, "Rodgers was not successful in his 1st 3yrs." He sat for his 1st 3 & the won a SB & MVP in his 1st 3 playing......So anyway you look at it you are the one lacking in "Football I.Q." & making "Idiotic" statements.

"Injury plagued"??? He had 1 foot injury that he played with previously. He was not "Plagued" with injuries. He had 1 injury that was surgically repaired and HEALED. The HC called his effort & desire into question PUBLICLY after he was HEALTHY for several weeks. This is not a question of the injury effecting his ability. This IS a question of his effort to contribute after being healed. I am not on the field with the guy. The HC that called him out saying, "He needs to give better effort in practice & in games." & "He is being put down due to performance. He is healthy. It is not the injury. It is his effort in practice & games." In this instance I will 100% take Mularkey's word for it over anyone else's............

Especially a GB fan that does not know his current starting QB sat for his 1st 3yrs in the league..........And called Aaron Rodgers 1st 3yrs "Not successful".........a SB win & MVP in his 1st few years as a starter qualifies as pretty damn successful to me...

The point here is: You "as a GB fan" should not be here making statements about posters in a Titans' forum being "Idiotic" or Lacking in "Football I.Q."

You SHOULD be researching YOUR GB Packers and learning a bit about YOUR Teams' history.
