I see far too often somebody staying "that guy is a reach" with the 5th pick. So I want to see everybody's list of players they feel are worthy of being picked at 5 that also fills a need.
Here's mine in no particular order-
    Myles Garret
    OJ Howard
    Jonathan Allen
    Solomon Thomas
    Marshon Lattimore
    John Ross
    Reuben Foster
    Corey Davis
That's about it. I didn't include the safeties because we don't need one now that we have Cyprien as our box Safety which allows Byard to play in his natural position.

But I think all of these guys can be justified taking a chance at 5 if that's who they really want and they don't expect them to be there at 18.

Well the stats and game tape suggest otherwise. Cyprien was one of the best box safeties in the NFL last year. We may not need to draft another box Safety at 5.

Hooker and Adams should both be on this list imo. Corey Davis and John Ross shouldn't.

Wouldn't it be a bit redundant to draft either Hooker or Adams if the coaching staff already believes in Byard and Cyprien?

Depends how great you think the drafted safety would be. Franchise(elite) players at any position we dont have an elite player is worthy of the pick.
We may have solid guys to play roles but they are far from gamebreakers (as of what we've seen so far.)

In no particular order are guys I would be ok with assuming medicals are clean.

I think the whole value thing is dumb. Judging a player off of some weird subjective criterion of what the fifth pick is worth.

It's about the best player left. Doesn't matter if that player is "worth" 5 or not. He's the best available at that time.

I'd List my favorites for 5 as...

    Garrett
    Howard
    Lattimore
    Foster
    Hooker

I don't think any of the WRs should be taken, as one of the three will likely still be there at 18.

Assuming no trades, I want to either see...

    Howard @ 5
    Cb or foster @ 18

    Or

    Lattimore at 5
Davis, Ross, foster or Njoku at 18

To me it Jonathan Allen or do our best to trade out. Myles Garrett won't be available anyone else I rather have traded back. If we can't find a trade partner I'm also fine with Hooker, Adams, Davis, Howard, or Foster

The only guy I'd want to pick even if a trade is on the table is garrett.

Assuming all players clear medically, id be ok with:
Allen, thomas, barnett, lattimore, foster, reddick, peppers, hooker and adams

But, I'd honesty rather trade back a few spots because a few of these guys will still be around at 10-15 and at that point I'd at in the offensive players too: davis, williams, ross, howard, njoku and McCaffrey
