Yeah, I don't know how much he was on Walker, but I do know that DW combined for 98 yards on 7 catches out of 13 targets and 1 TD in the 2 games we played JAX last year. Not terrible, but also not stellar.

As a side note, looking at the end of Walker's season should be a bit of cause for concern. His last 6 games he had 229 yards (38 ypg), 23 catches (4.3/game) on 40 targets, and 2 TD's. Not sure if he was injured, but DW has been known to have some injury concerns as well and he isn't getting younger. I've said it before and I'll say it again, TE should be a top target in this very good class.

Edit: So looking back at those games, that was a tough stretch for the passing offense as a whole and we played some good D's there too: Chicago was playing well on D, Denver, KC, and Jax

Just got 2 tickets to Day 2 of the draft. Entered the lottery just for fun to see if I could get tickets. Do you guys think it's worth traveling to Philly just to attend Day 2? I guess you can see the announcements but don't get to see the players walk on the stage since most of those guys are gone Day 1.

Please do elaborate on his injury concerns. I'm curious as to what injury woes a TE who has missed 8 games in his career if you exclude his rookie season in which he was inactive for 9 games has? So 8 missed games in 11 seasons. Yes his durability is a major concern.

Day 2 still offers some excitement (if you really covet the draft), theres usually some guys that get pushed into day 2 that you could get to see live.

But keep in mind, right now we dont have a 2nd round pick, so youd be hanging around a bit for our 3rds to come around.

Where would u be traveling from?

He was listed on the injury report a good portion of last season suffering groin, hamstring, and chest injuries (at the very least), and was questionable for a bunch of games. Obviously he played through a good part of those though, so that was great news. But there was no one really behind him to step up, and there definitely isn't with Fasano gone now.

I'm not actually knocking the guy, he's been as consistent and injury free as anyone could hope for from any TE. I love DW as much as anyone here, there's a reason I have him as part of my avatar laying a sweet block to spring DH's first TD.

I'm sure I sound like I'm nit-picking, but that's not my point at all. It's more that as he ages, he's bound to suffer more injuries and we don't have a viable backup at all IMO, much less a replacement plan. We need to target TE.

NFL fan mobile pass, but I think the entry period is done.

SoCal. So it would be a pretty big commitment. If it was a Day 1 ticket that would be really tempting.
