Only way it could ever happen is if the Pats get their 1st back from the Saints for Malcolm Butler. But if that happened then they'd have a gaping hole at CB, and their draft history suggests they'd be more likely to go DB over a roleplaying slot/RB.

They have Cooks, Edelman, Dion Lewis is healthy now - people forget how good he is as a receiving back, Gronk, and may sign a veteran RB. Their offense is pretty well set. I just don't see any reason why they would ever take McCaffrey.
