People exaggerate injuries. They happen, sometimes they'll ruin a career, sometimes they won't. Lattimore and Ross played all year last year at the highest levels of their career. Time to move on.

I think it differs on the injury. I am looking at micro-fracture surgery. The Dr says I will heal and lead a normal life. However, he said if I were a high profile athlete I would be in for a struggle. The normal everyday life vs high effort high stress.

It's a matter of the injury really. Many can/will be easier for an athlete to over come. Many will cause them more issues. I remember when Clowney had micro-fracture surgery there was a lot of talk of him not ever being the same. IIRC Clowney has had a couple more clean out surgeries since. I have not really kept up with him or his recovery. However, I seem to remember some news of follow up surgeries.

Clowney got 10.5 sacks in 3 years . In 16 he got three sacks in week 14 , 15 , 16. Missed week 17... Those three sacks to finish season came against colts, jags, Bengals.
