You understand I'm saying possession as someone who's dynamic with the ball in his hands yea? I figured Run extension/Space player explained that.

Why do continue to go on thinking I'm talking about Samuel? As a matter of fact, this is the first time I've referenced or said his name at all.

I never said he couldn't catch, and I'm not even talking about Samuel. I didn't know this was the OSU gadget Percy Harvin thread.

I petition to have your username changed to SamuelsUncle

Never heard anyone mean that type of player when calling someone a possession receiver.

I think the most known use of it is for madden, "possession" wr who can catch everything, like boldin.- It's why I added the other terms as well.

Run extension guys likely don't have much actual WR value... space player guys need schemed open more often. Possession guys are best with the ball in their hands... they arnt all the same type of player. Obviously some of that can overlap.

I see what you mean, I just saw possession and it didn't really make sense, but now I see what you are saying.

It depends on the draft position honestly. I'm not the biggest fan of someone like Cam Robinson and OT isn't a need. But if for some odd reason he fell to the 2nd or 3rd, then he's obviously a great value pick. I know that particular example won't happen, just pointing out that at some point, even the guys I don't like become good value picks if they drop.

Really, the only players I would not want us to draft in any round are the Joe Mixon type of players.

I don't want any Olinemen in the 1st round...... We have spent huge resources on the group & finally have a group that works well together. We should be working on keeping that group together; rather than replacing one of them with an unknown. We have seen how unpredictable a draft pick can be.....Warmack was supposedly the best OG prospect to come out in years! So many oline players are coming from largely spread offenses. Finding quality oline players has become much more of a crap shoot in the draft. If you are going to take that gamble; do it later in the draft, not the 1st round.

I am not saying don't take one in the 1st EVER. I am saying right now while we have a good oline in place; there is no reason to make the gamble.
