Agreed. Hightower would be a gamechanger here... Probably have to fork over some big money, but he's worth it.

I Google'd to see his age, turns out he's from Lewisburg, TN. Didn't know that.

Pair a Hightower signing with a starting caliber DB and I'll be happy.

I see 'big spenders' as we are probably going to have another year with a decent amount of turnover.

We could probably replace 2 offensive starters relatively easily and moderately priced in free agency.

On defense, we could probably replace 3 DBs, an ILB, and someone on the line.

I don't see big spender necessarily meaning two guys with close to 100mil contracts.

We could potentially walk away with 5 new starters in free agency alone.

Don't know if anyone has mentioned this previously, but the Chiefs are not going to franchise tag Dontari Poe though they do want him to sign a new contract with them. I say the Titans should pursue him!

I haven't dug deep in the free agency threads on here, but has anyone mentioned the possibility of signing Kevin Zeitler? Stud guard and it would add to the Titans' strength on the offensive line.

    Free agency:
Guard Kevin Zeitler would be an upgrade over Spain, Kline, or Warmack and would make our run game even nastier.

WR Terrelle Pryor looked impressive in his first year as a full time receiver and would be an upgrade over Wright.

MLB Dont'a Hightower would be the captain our defense needs and comes from a winning environment back to his Alabama days. Jrob also has familiarity with him.

    Draft:
5th pick overall CB Marshon Lattimore the best potential lockdown corner coming out of this draft.

18th pick overall SS Jabrill Peppers is an elite athlete who flys around the field. I'm not saying he's the best safety in the draft but I believe he could be bpa at a position of need. Hopefully he's still available this late.

I see everyone wanting us to take a top WR by any means necessary but really is it a necessity. Our offense seemed to perform really well and in this scenario our WR core and OL would still be getting an upgrade. I want a #1 but its also not realistic to fill every need in one offseason. We are still building. I believe what's most important is solidifying our defense. They need the leadership that Hightower could bring by making the proper in game adjustments. Then adding two solid pieces to our secondary would be paramount going forward although I would like to see a veteran added if McCourty leaves.

Ya I kinda agree with GTFO.. I don't think drafting a WR is all that necessary. Defense needs some big improvements and we should focus the 1st round on that. Maybe pickup one of the other WR's like Cooper Kupp or Zay Jones later in the draft.. both those guys film looks pretty damn good to be honest.

Terrell Pryor is a freak of an athlete who proved himself at wideout this year, only concern is his personality. Sounds like a cancerous locker room guy (although he seemed to keep his cool in cleveland). But he def would bring some crazy talent to the WR corps. As big as he is, he's also got some very ridiculous speed which is really what we need, so he solves that issue too.

Would really reallllllly love to land Dontari Poe or Dont'a Hightower. If we got Hightower then we wouldn't need to look at Reuben Foster (who I like) and that would free up a draft slot for the secondary.

Everyone knows that we have to improve our secondary and that the draft is loaded with secondary talent....would it be too crazy to just lean on the draft to fix that major problem??? What if instead of paying big money for a CB in FA we went ahead and landed Poe and Hightower to totally fix the middle of our defense and then we went young in the secondary. We know that we can get a stud safety at #5 and a starter quality CB at #18.....

Poe should be #1 priority of free agency. Bouye 1a.
