I would say for most teams it would not change much. However, for a team that has had one decent season in the past decade; I think it will absolutely create pressure to continue improvement. I think most people will admit they will be upset this year after paying more for tickets; if the team falls to 6 or 7 wins this season. Although that would (Should) not be shocking considering the state of the team 2yrs ago. I think the team exceeded expectations this year. We have a schedule that is similar to last year. Increasing the price of the tickets does make people want to see better. You cannot say that you would pay more for a car with the same quality & miles; unless they upgrade the features. Same concept.

The Titans of late have struggled to connect with their fans. I think a lot of that has been very poor Front Office moves. Underwood has never been on the same page as fans. Tommy Smith was overwhelmed by the job; and ran quickly. Webster was a JOKE of a GM. I believe JRob has improved the overall situation. However, I still believe a price increase so soon after HORRIBLE decisions; makes for a lot of pressure on JRob to deliver.
Yes, I think he is always going to want to improve. I am just saying I think they put an extra spotlight on that with the increase this year.
No one said anything about the GM raising prices, or that the people raising prices have any say on JRob.

However, it is realistic to believe that a raise in prices after one good year puts pressure on a GM. Delivering a dud season after one good season; that was preceeded by several bad years would be bad enough. Doing so after you publicly announced your improvement as reason for the rate increase is not going to sit well.

    It's common sense......

    I'd be down with that

But I suspect as long as Walker is here our #2 TE will be a inline blocking style TE. That's just how Mularkeys offenses have always been.

Jrob is under pressure due to the title & nature of his job. A raise in ticket prices isn't even in the top 100 list of things that would be stressing him.

    just my opinion of course

...plus does anyone really not expect ticket prices to go up routinely? What doesn't, besides dated technology?

Sure. However, coming out and publicly stating the increase is due to team improvement puts a light on it. Doing so after only 1yr of improvement & citing improvement as the reason is even more attention getting. I think everyone expects it at some point.

I think it would've been much better received after another year of improvement.

There is NO WAY that any GM is not thinking about delivering after a price increase. Let alone one the owner publicly contributed to the improvement the team has/is making.

Yes.....I 100% agree JRob wants to improve regardless. However, there is no way this is not on his mind.

I read every statement I could find and never read anything like that. I certainly never read anything that gave me the impression that my $2 increase is so JRob can land Eric Berry.

Honestly, I'd be surprised if JRob knew how much tickets cost.

WHO said anything about landing Eric Berry???? I AM SAYING JRob has a lot to accomplish this year after the increase. His owner put a spot light on him.

    http://www.espn.com/graphics/2017/Feb/52756 Amy Letter Signoff.pdf

This is the letter sent out. In it (4th Paragraph) AAS speaks to what JRob did in year 1 and how she expects great things in year 2 "In terms of both salary cap room and “Draft Currency”(as Jon likes to say),we are in good position for him to do even more in his second offseason".........If this does not OBVIOUSLY point to the fact that she put the spot light on what he is doing THIS year......I don't know what more you could ask for......

What else would she talk about? Every season ticket package/literature talks about the upcoming year.
