THIS.........I was about to go searching for the quote from JRob when I saw your post. In the same interview I believe he also spoke about needing to upgrade the "Speed of the team".

I think the phrase I highlighted points to the fact that he is VERY aware the team MUST upgrade the secondary; & make that a priority.

I agree that JRob is smart enough to build with one eye on the future. However, He is also smart enough to realize that an increase in ticket prices; means he must improve the immediate product as well. Fans (Most) are not accepting of the increase after only 1yr of improvement as it is. If the team comes out and falls flat this year; after a rate increase, it WILL be discussed among fans & media. The team will not look good at all.

Most of us are smart enough to know that this team still has a year or two of building to do. Then we will (SHOULD) be consistent playoff competitors. However, the team must keep improving after increasing the cost of a product that has been bad; for far longer than it has been at an acceptable level. I really believe that this will be in the back of Jrob's; and AAS' minds.

I'm going to be honest I don't think an increase in ticket prices changes anything. You always want to improve the product you send out in the field and increasing ticket prices doesn't change that or how they approach FA or the draft.

an increase in ticket prices could also come from the die hards who know what needs we have to fill for years. Anybody that has watched a Titan game in the last 3 years - and has a basic football knowledge 101.... knows why we consistently get torched by Luck....... secondary.

I would personally by some tickets if say pre Draft I drew out a list of needs before the draft, and compare the results. And if they almost aligned... that creates a separate type of excitement.

I agree with that........ This is basically what I was saying; just more well put. Good Job. It is very hard to disagree with this logic IMO. There will be those that do; just so they can argue. However, this is a very true statement.

ticket prices are not decided by a GM, nor do the people who change the ticket prices have any pull on Jrob

Lattimore is the clear cut number CB in this draft. I've watched all his film on draftbreakdown. Teams barely throw at him. Lattimore at 5. Ndjoku at 18
