    i know I know I hate em as much as the next guy

    But let's talk about this, as it might affect us.

    First, Big Ben brought up the possibility that he might not return...could the steelers be another team looking to move up for a qb? I think since he brought it up publicly he's leaning heavy toward retiring.

    Then, we hear Antonio brown is possibly available, which would make sense if they were in for a rebuild on offense...possible trade target for us?

    Just came off a heart breaking loss, I dont think this is much of a story, but yea let him walk away, i'd love that..

    but I cant see them blowing that whole thing up and letting Brown go.

    Don't think we'd pay the price to get Brown, personally. I think Robinson wants to build depth and not give up a ton of assets for one guy. JMO

    Ben is the biggest drama queen in the league. He loves the attention. 100% chance he comes back next year. 100% chance Brown is in Pitt next year, whether it be a long-term deal or the franchise tag.

    Big Ben has taken a beating over his career. He's got 2 SB with a 3rd visit. I could see him calling it quits but I think he'll be back.
    As far as Brown goes, I can't see him leaving Pittsburgh. If they were to go a new QB route (can't see them content with landry Jones) then what better tool to help break him in to the league or the system than Brown.

    Definitely not retiring. Ben will realize he has $12M reasons to return next year (his cap is $18M but $6M of that is from a signing bonus that he's already received). He's probably just tired and pissed they didn't make the SB.

    He'll take some time off, go to the beach, play with his kids, then in a few months he'll be really bored, ready to get out of the house and go back to work. Happens to top level players towards the back end of their career all the time. The thing is, he still plays at a high level.

    This might even be some leverage to get some extra money. He's pretty cheap for a top tier QB who's team came in 2nd in the AFC.
