I think a team might give up two second round picks and a third. But it really comes down to how desperate a team gets. Philly got what they got from the Vikings because it was close to the season starting and Vikings got desperate. If Philly would have trading Bradford let's say draft weekend last year no way would they have gotten a first for him. Might not have even gotten a third.

Wouldn't give up more than a 2. He hasn't played enough to be worth more.

    how does that even matter?

we have teams wasting 1st round picks on guys who have never set foot in the league

How doesn't it? Remember Matt Cassell? How about Brock Osweiler? Backups playing in good systems playing well for a few games is by no means a predictor of future success. I also wouldnt be one of those teams wasting a first round pick. My opinion is you need talent around a QB to be successful, unless it is a guy like Rodgers who can cover holes. Also, with first rounders you get a guy for 5 years, Garrapolo is under contract for only 1 more year I believe, as he signed a 4 year deal 3 years ago. So you want to give up a first for that? Not me.

Id gladly give up a 1st for Jimmy, his college tape is better than anything this draft offers, and hes now 3 years in but still fresh...

A new contract would come with any trade, otherwise why bother...

So, then you are forced to pay a QB who has barely played. Doesn't seem like good business. Also, his college tape? Eastern Illinois? I hope he would light up that competition. Give me Deshaun Watson.

If he gets the right situation, maybe. If he goes to a place like Cleveland, good luck.

Cleveland has a way of draining the life out of everyone, if he goes there all bets are off

but actually theres an article calling for Watson to sit this year out if hes picked by Cleveland.. No body wants to be there..

They should draft Defense and OL. That is how they need to fix that mess. Not just cycle in new QBs. Wouldn't want watson to go there because he won't have much of a chance to succeed. I think Jimmy G will be a solid starter, but more a 1st and then some seems a high price. Maybe the bottom of the first round would be worth it for a team like Denver ready to win now, but a rebuilding team shouldn't give up many assets imo.
