I knew he'd use a lot of TE's, but more focused on running/blocking. I meant I didn't expect anyone outside of Walker to get many pass attempts.

I could see them going for someone like Doyle. Very team first player, seems like a JR type guy.

Engram is a big question mark. Is he a WR or a TE? Combine should help people slot him better once we see his real size and athleticism.

Really depends on what a quality TE means to you. Easier to find s decent run blocking TE who offers little to the passing ala Supernaw. The pass catchers who block poorly are drafted more highly given this is a passing league and thanks to players like Gronk and Graham. But it's very hard to find a TE who blocks well and is a real threat in the passing game ala Gronk!

That's why the position is 'devalued.' But does that mean we should avoid taking a TE in round 1 or 2? How many Gronks and Delanie Walkers are there in this league?

Funny to me to see you southerners use the phrase "no spring chicken". We use "he's long in the tooth".

How many Gronks and Walkers are available this draft? This seems like a pretty deep TE class but hard to know if any will be Gronk good. I just think we have much bigger needs than TE to use a 1 or 2 on TE. Once we get to 3rd round I could see looking that way.
I think this is also dependent on how many/which additional picks may be gained on a trade down.

I would love to see us be able to acquire another legit te. One that can block and is a receiving threat. We are always in a two te set, and walker ain't getting any younger.
